It's June! did a little fun drawing of summer alyx between doing VANCE SUBPRIME pages and practiced some painting with the max pack oil brushes. its actually making me like using color again.

ari paint + lines

started with a sketch then inks, and then decided i wanted to paint it like a trad oil paint but it was coming out like shit and i wasnt having fun, so i went back to my normal coloring process. i do want to figure out how to paint in a way i enjoy without line art!

warm-ups and wips

first 2 drawn from ref. lately ive been trying to practice volume and perspective in some of these, going back to fundamentals in drawing cubes to start out a head, but also trying to maintain that balance of volume and flatness/graphicness i like. also tried coloring with my oil brushes and i like the feel!

Been slowly developing a Y2K/Frutiger Aero Portal project i've dubbed Portal2k!

My vision is to create concept/costume designs of Chell, Wheatley + GLaDOS of an Aperture Labs in the 90s/Y2K era.

mostly sketches and a little shitty keyed undress animation ive been doing to play around with Procreate Dreams and kinda brush up on animation since its been a whiiile since ive animated. Dreams is cool, I def need more time to get used to it, but I feel somewhat more comfortable just using the animation assist feature in Procreate. I want to animate smaller, bit sized things to music just for fun featuing my OCs or some HL stuff naturally.

i was originally gonna do a sexy friday drawing but it turned into an animation that i wanna put more time into and will share later! i inked this bedtime alyx sketch from a month or so ago. I also want to do more coloring, admitdely, my colors suck and i think thats why i never do much of them. i abuse the hue and color balance sliders until i find something i like but im trying to mix my own colors with a limited palette.
