A little scene

This is a scene I have had in my head for some time, I am thinking of going back and add things to the festival, and this is probably one of the once I want. Also I would like Rick to talk to more Vardygers.

A kitsune - beware

Something is wrong. Vardygers only have one tail, why has this one nine? Though vardygers have been taken for being kitsune, and people might have felt they saw more then one tail, this one seem to have nine tails. Something is not right.

Early Access Episode 65

So I have been a steam for the last days/weeks, inking forward a lot of pages. I feel I might be able to finally finish this.

Good inking progress

So I have had a good inking motivation lately and therefor I have focused on that. The faster I ink, the faster I get done. I will thank you, you who stick with me. This is done in between a very busy everyday life and when I finally do have time, my brain want to do something else 😅

Oh, what could have been. I really love to make sketch animation, because it can be made pretty fast so you could potentially make som animation with length.

Revisiting the beginning sketches

So, I hope one day to print Vettirfolk as book, but as I go back to the beginning and I'm 10 years older by now, I feel I must redo some pages, and I need to ad some context. This was a webcomic, it had a fast pace, but I need to slow a little down, give some characters more background. Don't worry, I wont let there be an entire epic chapter only going on in the kitchen.

So the notes are in Norwegian, but basicly Surt explains what Lodur Ve did to this world after Niflheim was blown away. There is some bickering, in which Mistel interrupts as say they have to work together.

I know it's my own sketch, but I love the expression of Mistel here 😅

Early Access on 6-8 episodes

Okay, feedback taken. So so I get some feedback that some feel that it takes some time for the comic to move forward. So I will share with my highest tires the progress I’m in and the way forward. My thoughts here is that only Rick can see the monster machine here, while the huldres just see a young hulder. This thing reveals his purpose and why he is here.

Building Mistels room

I kinda have had Mistels room in my head for a while. It is squared, two floors, so the bed is on top and the cabinet under. It is a fox den.

So I feel I need to update you a little. I'm not only working on the next pages, I'm finishing them up. They really just are missing the text. But making a comic besides a fulltime job is a process that will take time. I just have to be honest about that. Thank you so much for your support.

How did Mistel find Earth?

An other suggestion I got to a sketch could not be solved with one drawing, it had be a comic. I really like how it turned out 😊

First meeting

So, here is a sketch request, how did Mistel and Rick first meet and how Mistel found Earth. It’s kinda one and the same, but I might draw a sketch for that last one, or more a sketch comic page.

Cute little fox part 1

So, now we are really pre Vettirfolk and maybe most importantly: Pre Rick and Mistel. This is more or less Rick and Mistel but in a different setting.

Hulder design

I have been wanting to do this for a while, showing how my hulder design came to be, from a sketch to a full design.
I remember I did not want the reptilian look, I wanted something uncanny, something in between a neck and a troll.
At the end you will what kind of creature these truly are.

2003-2007 - The dead years

Lol, the folders were more or less empty these years, but there were some interesting drawings that I thought might be nice to share.

Rick and...Lizzam? What? Wight Folk 001

Back to the very beginning. These are the very first sketches I made of Wight Folk, made over a periode of two weeks. At this point I had given up drawing and kinda went for a last run, that's why the first pages are so sketchy. I had no plan, did not know what to call the characters. At the very first I called Mistel Lizzam, for no good reason. I'm very happy about Mistel which is much more based on the ballade of Balder.
