Red's Weekly Update

 Ok here we go, back at it. First up, I want to announce and reveal the winning request for May: Hinata Hyuga requested by an anonymous patron. I've never drawn a Naruto character so it was good to do something a little different. I've also been practicing pushing proportions, trying to make my ladies look extra thicc without looking ridiculous. I might be reaching that threshhold...I'll let you decide :)

Pod's New Program (Monthly Build 0.03)

Ok! Sorry this is much later than it should be. I'm still working on the shield effect I mentioned in my last post but I'm going to need a little more time and I don't want you to wait any longer.

Hey everyone, here's a new video to show my progress on Pod's New Program!

I've been building on the scene transition system so I can do more than just cut from one scene to another. As you can see, the transitions are just a simple fade to black for now, but this groundwork will allow me to easily add animated transitions to emulate Nier's hacking effects.

Red's Weekly Update

So, as you can tell, the big update this week is a preview of the title screen for Pod's New Program! I tried to pay close attention to how the title screen looks in the real thing, and think I was able to reasonably mimic the look without going crazy trying to make it exact.

One thing to note is that this isn't the final version, there will of course be menu options and I still need to come up with some kind of background image. Not sure exactly what to show, any ideas?

2B Project - Preview Build 0.02

It's still very early in this project's development, so it'll be a while before I can get the spicy stuff in there, but for now you can check out my progress on parodying Nier's hacking minigame.

Nomu VS [Version 1.7, Complete]

Alright! Today's the day the full version of Nomu VS is available to all my patrons! What started as a single illustration turned into multiple sets with multiple stages, then mutated into an animation and then an interactive thing that was a bigger undertaking than I initially intended. But I learned a lot from it and I'm excited to put that to use in my next project!

First Preview Build for Pod's New Program!

(Working title).

Ok! Not a lot to see here, but wanted to inaugurate this project's monthly preview builds. It's been a lot of fun (and hard work) learning to code all this. 

Here's what I'm working on now:

  • Player HP and destructibility
  • Enemy HP and destructibility
  • More enemy types

Future milestones:
