Red's Weekly Update

First of all, this month's preview build will be available tomorrow (3/3). In my previous weekly update I mentioned the new stuff that's been added, which I'll mention here as well:
- Implemented player and enemy HP and destructibility
- Player ship loses pieces as it takes damage
- Slow motion effect on player death (may or may not keep this. It's not in the actual game, but it looks pretty rad).
- Graphical details: vignette, aberration, and grid overlay effects
So, keep an eye out for that tomorrow, and in the meantime you can check out a video here.
The next topic is a little awkward, but something that I think will become more of a good thing than otherwise: I haven't gotten any input on the request contest. I've given everyone eligible a week to respond, but I can't pick a winner if I don't have any entries. Rather than cancel this month's altogether, I will give them until the end of this week to respond (and will send out some messages to make sure they see it), and if I still have nothing, I'll open up eligibility to the next tier down ($5) so I can get more people in on it.
