We wanted to give y’all a glimpse into the making of this video—so here’s a little deleted scene! This was a delightful surprise I only found out halfway through work on the script. We ultimately cut it because it took too much time away from the central story, but it’s still near and dear to my heart.
We’ve seen tons of people in the video comments saying that they also worked on the blue LED back in the day. It really was one of the biggest unsolved proble...

Hello wonderful people,
New video coming out very soon. It's a strange topic, but I really did fall in love with sewing machines during the making of this one -- they really are mechanical marvels.
It's missing a few bits of animation, but it's pretty close to final. As usual we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Also, what title thumbnail ideas do you have for this one?
Thanks,
Petr on behalf of Derek and the whole Ve team.

This video was meant to be posted on the 4th of July, but it wasn't ready. So I'd rather take the extra time and make it right instead of just meeting a deadline.
I would love to get your thoughts on this - particularly from chemists who can weigh in on the changing color of the copper chloride flame test. Please let me know anything else you like/don't like, anything I can clarify. I really appreciate it!
Best,

Hi All,
This video will be going live in the next few days and I would love to get your feedback. There are still a number of sections where we are missing visuals but please let me know what's working for you and what is confusing. And let me know if you spot any mistakes etc.
I cannot thank you enough for supporting the channel and for providing feedback on early drafts of videos. It really helps to have extra pairs of eyes check over everything and help shape the narrative.

Back in 2019, I emailed the National High Magnetic Field Lab in Tallahassee Florida because I wanted to come and visit the World's Strongest Magnet. We had a visit scheduled. Then Covid hit. Then just before another planned visit in 2022, the magnet broke. This video has been a white whale for me and now I've finally managed to get it done.
I would love your feedback on this preview. Anything you particularly like/don't like? Any sections that could be better explained?
Thank you ...
