Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and new year. Can you believe it’s already time to get back to work? I am truly buried under all the emails I received and ignored over the past two weeks.

I am taking this week to plan my content calendar and organize the puzzle studio, and then I’m going to start filming next week and hopefully post my first video of the year on January 15th.

New video - Solving a mysterious vintage puzzle from Sweden in the 1940s

I’ve really been looking forward to doing this one. A viewer named Luca sent me this vintage wooden puzzle from Sweden from the 1940s, and there is no picture on the box, so the only way to find out what the picture is would be to put it together. It was such a fun challenge (and such a welcome relief from last week’s nightmare of a puzzle!)

Puzzling World Records from the Early 2000s

Hi everyone. First, I know what you're all asking - is the Karen Puzzles Puzzle available yet? Unfortunately not. I had a call with Ravensburger where they sort of explained the issue - something to do with purchase orders and how the inventory numbers are stored in Amazon's system. To be honest, I didn't really follow. But, there are plenty of puzzles being made, so as soon as Amazon fixes it on their end, you'll all be able to get one.

What's going on with the Karen Puzzles Puzzle?

Wow, what a weekend. I competed in my first ever jigsaw puzzle contest, and I launched the Karen Puzzles Puzzle!

First the good news - I placed SECOND in the individual division, just 34 seconds behind Yvonne! I could not believe it as I was getting close to the end and no one else had finished yet. I definitely think I got lucky because the picture is the exact type of blocky, colorful illustration that I love.
