Hi everyone. I'm hard at work on my video about the Winter Carnival Puzzle Contest. I spent many hours yesterday writing the video, and then I spent today filming the first half and beginning to edit it. You all have been so patient that I thought I would share a sneak peek of the first 4 minutes (which is as much as I've edited so far):

You can already see that this video is going to be filled with graphics and reference clips and sound effects, and I haven't even gotten to the actual competition event yet. You can also see where I leave notes to myself to add more graphics later - in my Premiere timeline, I'll set all of those temporary text boxes to yellow, so that they're easy to spot and go back in and replace.
The other big news is that I decided to splurge and get a new laptop. My old one was starting to have issues, so I decided to see if one of the fancy new MacBook Pros would help the editing run more smoothly and cut down on the exporting time. So far it works great, but I keep having to pause and adjust the settings in all of the programs on this new computer to get everything the way I want it. But hopefully by the time I get to my next video, I'll be fully up and running.
Stay tuned this weekend, because I won't have a main channel video, but I will have a bonus video here on Patreon. And then hopefully I'll have this video finished for the following Sunday. See you all then!
