Spanish version of the first Be on Alert spot for Texas Utilities. I designed and directed the first of the two spots to teach child safety around electricity. The introduction of their cartoon mascot Zigster, the kid friendly lightning bolt.

The discussion portion of week 5's lesson in my current pilot workshop. The lesson is in response to the most common problem I find in both student and studio films: the failure to address the emotional needs of the audience by focusing exclusively on the needs of the fictional characters.

I started off week 4 of my current pilot workshop with a discussion where I shared some newly selected favorite and least liked clips. The class is usually taken up by reviews of student work. As happens with every group of new students, there are always a few who decide to include flashback scenes in their short films. These clips were chosen to demonstrate why this is not a good idea.

The fourth Holly spot was to promote the 2 for $3 deal on Rally's Bacon Cheese Champs. The agency's concept was about sharing the extra one to make someone happy.
They were always trying to push the boundaries of propriety and good taste.
