Exploring in depth how to create aged metal with good contrast and interesting color variations! The video should also give you general ideas on how to paint metals on other miniatures - using a NMM style approach to true metallics and how dull and reflective areas create interesting patterns.
I had many requests to reupload this video as it had a bit of music in it by accident and got taken down by copy right claim. Trying to give you another weapon in your basebuilding arsenal - building a base from single stones and different elements. Talking about composition of course, planning and how to create interesting round stones that make the building blocks of your base.
Next I will show you how I paint this with Vallejo Model Washes for a realistic finish and what foilage you can use for swamp bases, as well as creating some resin based slime and water puddles.

Next video - Painting Tor Garadon's cloak! I wanted a color that would complementary contrast versus the yellow of the armor, but at the same time have a hint of the classic red cloak in there, so I was experimenting with that in this video. Also adding battledamage and represent a heavy cloak, that showed some weathering and battering. The next video will be about refining the armor a bit, adding more color to it and doing subtle weathering and battle damage!

I finally received the custom made wooden plinth I ordered for this project and was able to start on it. So here is the first video for the diorama.

Finishing up Candy Chan's rifle with a Company logo and scratched up markings for that extra story telling and detail that makes our pieces come to life. Adding some interesting features to the cable as well: I am imagining this piece of equipment to be experimental, why else would a cable run on the outside?

We are going to block in the main gradients of the white underside and then work on these gradients with a brush, scratch up and batter the gun a bit, so it looks like an actual item and not a toy and then think about what color to use for the upper parts and how it fits with the rest of the bust.
