All the lineart is officially done for Feather; the longest animation I’ve ever worked on. Next will be inking and painting. It will be an enormous task, but I’m up for it!

Finally it is done! Joey is just going to his next class, when suddenly that crow boy he has a crush on showed off some of his chest floof to him! He was expecting to Joey to be jealous but, he ended up being quite aroused. Too much for his little mind to handle x3
Also this this the animation that contains traditional animation cels. They blend in pretty well with the digital ones I think^^
For my next animation, parts of it will use traditional animation cels. Here are those frames as they look before being scanned. Never have I ever been so happy with something I created. I swear I almost cried because I was so happy I brought traditional animation back. Cels just look so gorgeous in person; I definitely want this to be the first of many!

Christian gives Joey proper goodnight kisses every night. He kneels down at his bedside, they chat for a few minutes, then right before lights out, he kisses Joey on the forehead, usually 5 or 6 kisses in really fast succession. Joey is 15, but doesn’t mind being treated like a child. He hardly has any memories of his original dad treating him this well.

No existing filter that I know of has the perfect amount of grain, dust, jitter, and chromatic aberration that I want. Lumafusion lets me control every last detail.

This guy was a mascot, (or more like the literal shape of the building) of Dinosaur Jack’s Sunglass Shack at California Adventure from 2001 to 2009. Decided to give him a draw as a speed paint test; finished him in 1 hour and 35 minutes :D

Something I notice with dark objects in comics, is that they’re often colored completly black in the lineart stage. I was thinking I should do that as well.
I like using the current dark brown I have now in place of black, but then that means I don’t have a dark brown.
So I’ll stick with this for now and see how well it works. What do you guys think?

Sketch for a possible future painting! When I was young and going through depression, I had a crush on Falco and Fox. Since then, I haven’t thought about them much until now, when I started watching a play though of Star Fox 64. I’m discovering them at their original source for the first time. This painting is definitely on my queue for traditional paintings I want to do :)
