Currently the wolf pre made partial is up. The tail is not pictured but it comes with the head, hand paws and tail. Hand paws were made by WhatsUpHotDog. More photos and video tomorrow.

2 new suits completed

Trying to wrap up as many suits as I can before I am out for surgery next month. These 2 boys were art lib commissions with colors and species picked by the customers. Pretty happy with how these 2 turned out.

Plush progress

Back from CES

Back from CES and wow what a crazy week in Vegas. Saw a ton of tech and a few machines I want to add to my shop, one being a personal cnc machine. Getting back to work on the vrc puppy and posting up a few more tutorials this month. Adjusting back to the time change as well.

VRC Puppy Retopology Completed

Puppy re topo has been completed and in the photo I have everything sort of merged together which is why it looks weird. Will need to split all the parts up, lay them out to make texturing easy in substance painter. Trying out a few things with this one I have yet to try before so I am pretty excited.

This dog will have a variety of options which is also something very new for me in VRC.

Will be working on the textures next then the normal maps. Once those are completed the riggin...

Cutting a model into parts using Meshmixer

I use meshmixer for a variety of things when getting my models ready to print. Slicing the head into parts using the simple plane cut works really well and it is very easy. I tend to do this to print the head in parts or to make the parts fit on smaller printers.

Plush preview progress - Fox

Getting a few photos from the manufacturer on how the body will start looking (small version prototype). They send photos, I redline and they continue tweaking until we get just the right look. I draw and write what I want altered. No details yet as we are still hammering out the overall shape. Preview of the current look with the current notes.

Very excited. We are working with 3 different manufacturers until we figure out which we like best. Currently waiting on previews from one more...

Back from the holidays

Back home and working on getting a few tutorials set up and posted. Need to clean up a few things for the hyena vtubing model as well and get that up and going all before the end of the year.

SoftCandy Toys - A new venture

Since we are starting a new venture into making plush but still wanted to be connected to Mixedcandy fursuits we created "SoftCandy Toys". Most of our toys will be plush based and wanted a playful fun logo to go with it and a mascot.

Our mascot is a cute pink and blue dog made out of cotton candy. You will see him around the website and all over social media. Debating naming him Sugar or Cotton but that is still up in the air.

TUTORIAL - Cura Settings for 3D Printed Fursuit Head Bases

Wanted to do a bit of a break down on the settings I pay the most attention to in Cura. The program can look really scary to start with but if you only focus on a few things to start you should be able to print relatively strong 3D fursuit head bases out of PLA pro.

Future base - Collie

Want to make a cool looking anthro collie. Very early stages, wanting to play either smaller proportions similar to the Shiba. May try a more closed mouth but still have good breathing. Few things to test 👀

Fox plush (3rd design)

3 designs are now being worked back to back. I can barely contain my excitement. 3ft plushies, super soft and can’t wait to share the finished designs with you all 🥰

Finally talking to my manufacturer about getting this project going and we may have a prototype very soon. These like any of the plush I plan to offer will be limited runs allowing us to do more species/fur patterns.

Beyond excited to be getting into the world of plush design. We are starting with the 3 foot designs before going into the 5 foot mark.

New heads in the works

Currently working on a semi realistic wolf head which will have glossy eyes along with a toony deer. Both are very much work in progress, trying new things. These will be more of a Patreon project as these will be a bit more involved to make as kits. Any that do not sell will be posted on Etsy after.

Working on new tutorials

Currently sick with a cold I’m working on new tutorials. Will add printing set up ones soon as well as many have asked ❤️ will see if I can have one up by next week.

New eyelids/eyes/socket

For our 3D eyed heads we like to print certain aspects and piece them together. This way I have a better idea of the overall look as I can design it in 3D. I wanted to make better eyes and eyelids and came up with this. Still need to add some notches for alignment but overall happy with the progress. Eyelids and eye will be 3D printed in fine detail so the eyes look as crisp as possible. Will create the eye cut out in nomad as I plan to make the hike fit our current eye mesh. Little improveme...

Both of these kits are coming back and will be offered here first. Any left overs that do not sell we either keep for auction suits or we put on Etsy. I am mostly making these to offer here. Plan to offer with an option to pick eye color. Are you interested in either ? if so respond back and tell us what style and eye color you would be interested in.

First time spending any sort of time doing clothing and I am so happy. Going to create a quick video tutorial on how to make a simple shirt with cozy blanket and nomad sculpt 👀.

New avatar in the works

So excited to release this as a Vtubing avatar and full VRC one. This will be available to download for free if you are part of the VRC tier hopefully by end of the year. Still working on it 😊 back to 3D sculpting again for VR.

Future Projects that will be Patron First & Updates

Working on on a few bases that will be Patron first and some may only be on here. The fox and yote bases have been really fun to work on but they are a lot of work to do. I want to release more on here and some will be released with the eye mesh yet to be added to allow customers to pick the color they want from the colors available. I will be providing more of the kits such as the rabbit and bear that I am doing here first. All kits take a significant amount of time so mostly keeping them on...

Tutorials coming up

Getting back into the swing of things. Going to work on a few 3D printing tutorials soon. Health issues have taken over a lot of my life this year so I do apologize for the lack of constant tutorials. But I should be able to put up some time lapse sculpts and mini tutorials up as well.
