New Cartoon- Shredded Cheese

Guess who's back! Well, at least in the sense that I can spend some more time working on M&M again. Still wrapping things up with work, but the big deadline has passed, so I decided to get this cartoon finished for you all!

I've still got the short with Ms. DePoint in the pipeline as well, just wanted to save it for when it's closer to "back to school" time in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I'm gonna start getting back to it. Thank you all so much for all the patience and kindness. I'll admit I have been a little wiped-out creatively lately but I'm getting the groove back.

Started this one a while back and finally finished it! I like doing these little looks into different stages of their lives.

Anyways, hey there, how you doin?

I know I sound a bit like a broken record here, but I wanna apologize for how this month has been going so far in terms of content, and wanna be clear as to why:

To make a long story short, I have had to put 90% of my time and energy into my job in order to meet a deadline, which is at the end of this month, with another coming up the following month. I honestly mean it when I say I've basically been working all day every day for the past 3 weeks to make it work and catch up, with any other free time being spent with maintaining social and personal responsibilities (and an ear infection, which was just lovely, lol).

This is not some kind of "bad sign" for Murphy & Mitzi, I have plenty I wanna do once I'm able to get back into it! And there are things I've got that are near-ready to post, like this one today, but for the sake of my own sanity I've been putting it aside in order to get this stuff done for my job.

As a consolation, I'm going to skip the upcoming pay cycle (Aug 1st) as a way to give back to all of you. I know it's not really much, but I don't feel comfortable taking your money when I haven't been working on M&M stuff for the majority of this month. I wanna give YOU a break too, especially in these expensive times. It's also due to the fact that I may not be able to deliver on making a "Thank You" post this month, depending on the time things are taking with work.

If there's anything I want to communicate, it's that this is not me "giving up" or a sign of bad things to come, I really wanna get back into M&M and things being more normal and regular with posting and creating! This project I'm doing at work has been going for over a year now and we're finally nearing completion, but with that comes a bit of crunch which is to be expected. But once it's over, I'll have that balance again that I need and there will be plenty I've got ideas for!

Sorry I haven't been making these a priority lately! I've just utilizing all my Murphy & Mitzi time for new things and kept putting off exporting out poses. But it seems like a good time to post one again, so here's a bunch from the first 3 "Mitzi Plushie" shorts. The one with Ms. Depoint will be next, it's just a longer short so there are more poses, lol.

I'm hoping to get back to the next plushie campaign soon btw, it was put off just because of all the tariff things going on, but I think things on Makeship's end have been figured out, so soon I'll think of a good time to get that rolling.

Thank you all once again for supporting me through June! I know it was a light month, but there's plenty in the pipeline that I'm working on.

This one was so quick and fun to make, and I really like the result of it, so I hope you enjoy!

I've decided too that I'm also going to reformat this one into a regular non-Patreon short as well. I didn't expect it to end up as complete a story as it did when I initially started. All it will take is changing the aspect ratio and editing the background, so it should be quick. I usually don't upload the Patreon vids to places like YouTube and Tiktok since most of my Patrons are more active on places like Twitter/Insta/Bluesky. I think this one will fit right in as a regular short, though, after I make it the standard size and add in some actual ice cream flavors, lol.

Consider this the "Ultra Cool Patreon Supporter Special Edition" with all the coolest flavors being YOU.

For some reason "Fox Twitter" keeps appearing in my feed and giving me fox videos and there's a remarkable amount of videos of cats and foxes feuding. Guess it really DOES happen.

Anyways, apologies about my quietness, I've been a bit in the "needing to prioritize other things in life" status once again (no, not Switch 2, I mean REAL stuff) but that doesn't mean M&M stuff isn't in the works! In fact I'm actually REALLY itching to get back into it more, my free time has just been a bit sparse.

A bit of an update on the next plushie: I will hopefully be ready to hold a vote on who's next soon. Basically, I've been waiting on a more stable time to launch, given the recent import tariff stuff happening and how it's affected Makeship. But hopefully we'll be there soon!

I apologize for the quiet the last couple of weeks. I've been working on some stuff behind the scenes but this month was a doozy for me. I've been doing a LOT of stuff outside of the Murphy & Mitzi sector and will try to get things back on track after this next week is over.

Don't know if I mentioned it, but Makeship is allowing me to go through with a third plushie! I will likely be holding a vote soon to see who people want next: [bunny], Vivian, or Zoe.

I did a concept for each of them and included them here as a little behind-the-scenes bonus.

New Short!- Loathe is in the Air

HA, turns out last week's plushie short wasn't the ACTUAL Valentine's Special short! Surprise, I guess?

To tell you the truth, that one just kind of happened to align with the season, it was always an idea I had for advertising the Mitzi plush back (it was kind of an obvious one), and wasn't planned as a Valentine's Day short.

This one I actually thought of and started in mid January, but of course ended up saving the longest and most complicated shot until this week... I'm actually a little shocked it got done on time, but I'm glad. I might take a break from doing holiday-related shorts for a little bit though, I need to stop doing things that have a hard deadline while I'm already knee deep in so many other things. Plus I wanna do some more non-holiday stuff while I've got the time.
