Isaac's spinach gratin was a big hit at the potluck, despite not having Space Dread's storebought garlic pepper in it. Barb even called it "restaurant quality" which is a big deal since Barb's sister owns an actual restaurant, which she pointed out to Isaac.

Unfortunately, Carol couldn't make it because she had to go to her kid's dance recital, so she and Isaac would have to battle another day.

Nine Times

In one of the loops, Dread confessed to Isaac that she used storebought garlic pepper and lied about it. Isaac was heartbroken, of course, but he appreciated her honesty. This did not affect the loop one bit.

Good Deed

Isaac once brought spalmon* lasagna rolls to the potluck, only to find out that Carol brought spalmon asparagus lasagna rolls. Since then, Isaac vows to to add one special thing to his potluck dishes so that he won't suffer the same humiliation at the hands of Carol ever again. This is the biggest adversarial relationship in Isaac's life.

Isaac took Time Loop Studies back in wizard school. The entire class took place in one single repeating day, and students were graded based on how many loops it took for them to break out of it.

Isaac broke free after 31 loops, which got him a B-

Minnow's new galactic standard year's resolution was to quit using the mission-critical quantum radio channel for personal calls. She lasted two weeks.

Insect monsters tend to form maternal bonds with Val quickly due to her carapace-like armor. So, in a way, that trait did come from her experience with her own mom.

The Real Treasure

The dungeon maker dilemma is overspending on elaborate traps and monsters that you run out of the treasure the dungeon was supposed to protect. By the time they realize this, they'd have already finished most of the dungeon. To save face, they usually shoehorn themes such as trust, friendship, courage, etc. onto the obstacles so they can put a note in the treasure room that says "That lava serpent you defeated symbolized self-acceptance, which is its own reward" or something.

Isaac has 120 different robes of various magical properties, and they're all the same style and color. The one he's wearing right now grants a 16% resistance against coffee spills. This means that, if he spills coffee on himself, then 16% of the coffee stain will disappear.

If any other drinks are spilled onto it, it will combust. It's not a very good wizard robe.

Planning

The first 22 steps were getting the server disguise, which required five sheets of planning paper that also went to waste. Later, Dex reminded Dread that she could have just shapeshifted into the restaurant easily. Dread was having a real stressful week.

Violence is bad because if you do it then people will do it back to you and it just keeps going like that forever. In order to stop violence there needs to be no more violence: people need to be kind to each other. But, if the violence has already happened, then someone has to be the bigger person and respond to the violence with kindness.
