Really want to make it into an interactable game, so let's hope that goes well. We'll still have a finished animation in the end if that doesn't work though, so I'm not that worried

Holy heck, this picture felt so so good to make
I know I've joked in the past about my recent changes feeling like I was taking training weights off, but that's how I absolutely feel right now
It really feels like I've broken through a couple mental blockades, and now I can go all out on my pics again. I've really felt like this and the zangoose animation were me hitting my current ceiling and reaching my current potential

Hey everyone!
It's finally here! I was kinda waiting until I was powerful enough to make a zangoose scene and I'm quite satisfied with it. The animation is simple, but I believe this is the best pixel art I've created so far.

So here's a quick update on my last post about my computer breaking down a bit.
Since the previous post I've been using my PC without any problems with the temporary fix for my old cooler, and today the new part has arrived so I can replace it and have everything go back to normal soon enough

So a bit earlier today I was doing the inking process for the new pic when I heard an odd metallic noise. At first I didn't think much of it, but a few minutes later my PC stopped working so I had to open it up and take a look.
Turns out that the plastic piece that holds my CPU fan had snapped, making the fan dislodge and causing the CPU to overheat.

The whole point of making these is to make mistakes as soon as possible, it's much easier to come up with several compositions at this stage than it is to try to correct a wonky picture when it's nearly completed

You know, watching this again from start to finish really allows me to see all the mistakes I made and how I'd be able to correct them. I really really like how the lineart looked for this one, but maybe the rendering itself might not be so hot.
