Phew, it's finally complete

This is for sure the most challenging pic I've ever worked on. I redid the entire thing several times (and if this is the best of them, you know you really don't want to see the other ones!)

And of course I also had to go with this rendering style that I'm reeealy not experienced with. Eh, growing pains I guess

Hey there!

You know what's weird about this one rhydon pic? I sketched the entire thing, then on the next day I looked at it and had the biggest deja vu. I'm not sure if it's just me being stupid, or that I subconsciously copied a pic I had seen somewhere, but I could swear I had seen this exact pic before.

Well, either way here it is. If I inadvertently made something similar to an already existing pic, my apologies.

Holy shit, 3 pics in the same week Woohoo! (Except if you're not reading this on patreon, then the typhlosion animation will only be posted next week, oops!), this is partially to make up for not posting anything last week and partially because I happened to be very efficient with my free time this week.

I had this one sitting in my computer almost completed for quite a few weeks now. Last week I did a round of "Backlog Cleaning" where I asked my patrons which projects I should focus on finishing next and the overwhelming majority voted for this animation to be completed, so thank them for this!

I had bought Clip Studio a good while ago but had never used it for anything, so I thought "what better way to completely break my 1 picture per week streak?" and this is the result

I'm still not 100% confident on how to use this program, but I confess that I really do like this effect. It reminds me of those d?jin that I love do much.

Paper submitted, getting back to work

Hey guys, just wanted to post a quick update here.

I've finally submitted this paper I've been working on for the last couple of weeks. I got very little sleep this week as I still needed to write a bunch of stuff and run many many experiments, but now everything is ok again :)

Expect a new submission today or tomorrow btw. It's not gonna be the typhlosion animation quite yet as there's a bit of work I still have to put on it, but that should be done this weekend if everything goe...

Hey there!

Here's the final painting for this little "Month of Afterschool Summoners" event. Moritaka was the main focus of this piece, but I couldn't not draw Shino now that he's officially a summon in the game

The composition for this piece is definitely the best one of the pack so far. I really like this painting, although there are many things that can still be improved next time. Oh well, I'll just have to keep trying my hardest to get better.

Anyway, hope you like it!

Alright, last one I've promised for this "pack" (Honestly, it's also the better one hahaha)

This was certainly good for my drawing experience, pumping out paintings relatively fast, focusing not on tiny details but much more on the general flow of the piece, these gave me a good extra month of practice in just a few days (well, if you don't count that the 4th one came out over a week after the other ones :P)

Here's the first of a set of Tokyo Afterschool Summoners-themed paintings I'll be making this April. The characters were selected by my top tier patrons to try to smooth out the transition while I make some changes to their pledge tier.

I really enjoyed painting this one, I can really feel my style taking shape here. The pose and overall composition could be much better, but you can't win them all so that's ok

To cut a long story short, I'm thinking about stopping the personalized monthly sketches for the golden boar tier.

The way things work right now is just too much for me, trying to create 14 completely different patron sketches, plus around 4 paintings/pixel animations per month, plus working full time on my masters degree is becoming unbearable for me. Mainly because the latter one has been requiring extra attention from me lately.

Here's the first in a (hopefully!) 4 image silly set of ursaring that I ended up drawing today as I'm currently trying to train myself to be less technical and more raunchy with my illustrations.

It ended up becoming a tiny image set because I liked the proportions I ended up using, so I made several experiments with them (2 solo and 2 with pangoro), so expect that in the near future.
