I met Alice for a little in the city this afternoon. We haven't hung out in just shy of 2 years, which is mad to think about. We've worked together a bunch in the past, and I'd hoped to have done again much sooner than this but after not seeing each other for a few months the first lockdown came along and well, we know how that all went.

Flood (work in progress)

As the storm rages in Paisley and vast chunks of land are dissapearing below, I stayed in most of the day and decided to patch up my 2600 synth. I found a patch I dug, so ran a wee progression through it a few times, tweaking it on the fly.

All sounds from the 2600, except the rain which I sampled from the window.

Layered up a few takes and this is the result so far.

Kelpies, Falkirk

It rained loads today, proper storm style. It also meant the Kelpies were relatively free from humans so we went to take a look. It's wild that I’ve managed to not see them until now.

I was blown away by the scale of them, it was real impressive to see sculptures that size. The emotion, too; the definition in their faces was unreal.

I've only got a couple of 35mm lenses on the M10-R, so I also packed the Q2 as I felt the 28mm would make for more interesting compositions, plus it...

Yorkshire Trip continued.

West Coast Road Trip.

Yesterday I headed up part of the west coast with Robyn and our dogs. It was boiling hot, and I'm no good in the heat, but the scenery made up for it. It's not often I get to see Scotland in the sun like this, especially as you travel further north.

I took my M6 and a few rolls of film, it will be a while before I get those developed but in the meantime here's a ton of photos from the day taken on the Q2.
