Amazon v2 (pencils)
Not quite liking this experiment.

Sorry about the lack of updates. I'm currently in the process of finding a new apartment; I'm spending most of my free time outside.
It seems Patreon doesn't have a spoilers tag, so please accept this quoteblock instead:
Luckily, this concept came up with ease. Dragon's Crown eventually reveals that its buxom badass fantastic-ass lady is actually not a real Amazon, but an o... 2020-09-14 15:54:52 +0000 UTC View Post

I had to make a very conscious decision to stop this. I mean, there's still a rather drastic laundry list of things I want to do to it, but I was "just about to finish it" more than three weeks ago, then I went and spent more than 50 hours further tweaking it. I had actually resolved to halt last Friday, but then I fell the whole weekend ill. So I finished yesterday, but had no energy left to post it. Parkinson's law is in full effect, and I've no idea how to fi...

2020-08-26 03:56:19 +0000 UTC View PostI need to address the current state of affairs.
Three artworks per month is turning out to be unrealistic. Tentatively, I now think I should aim to something more along the lines of charging once every two months, and only for survey pictures. (I suppose it'd be rather dickish of me to charge you for something you didn't have any input if it's going to take so long.)
Except I'm also observing very little interest in the polls. I'm going to run them a couple more times (after the S...

July's gonna be a dead month. I still need at least another weekend to finish this.
As usual, don't pay attention to the jpeggy thumbnail. See below.

As a kid, I never understood everyone's curiosity for live-action versions of cartoon properties. I guess I still don't, really. There's something about the work of a good painter or animator, you know. Their ability to enhance and embellish far surpasses anything I've seen accomplished with a camera. And that pushes me improve as an artist. Obsession with beauty. A need to compensate for its absence in the particular shithole I live in.
I wonder what that kid would think of me if he re...

Shit; It's the middle of the month already. I want to add veins, but I really need to start coloring.

Problem with offering growth sequences in the poll is that, from my perspective, they're one picture for the cost of (at least) three, and will most likely result in this being the only concept I'll have time to work on for the entirety of the month.
I think I'm going to have to remove the option once every two months or so.

Report attached. Summary:
(Lol) Was honestly expecting Sadako to be the underdog. I'm glad she kicked ass though, as she was the one I listed with the widest grin.

I know you people didn't come here to see the stiff behind-the-scenes auxiliary material, but this is probably the only moment in which posting these sketches will make some degree of sense.
I drew these back in 2016 as offline experimentation. The Twintails picture was built on their framework. I never really intended to post them, but here you go.

Oops. This project was a little too ambitious. I don't even know if Patreon will count it as a June upload, but we'll see.
The boobs weren't quite working out, so I just had to leave them out of the post for now. I'll play around and try to upload that version later, free of charge obviously.
As usual, don't pay attention to the thumbnail above. See attachments.
Update 2020-07-11: Changed eye/eyebrow color and font. I still owe you the boobs.

Hey. This is my first actual post since I got my first patron, so welcome everyone.
As agreed back in the poll preview thread, this month's Random picture is going to double as reference material for the upcoming poll's "Ratio" query. Hopefully, the variety will make up for the uneventfulness.
Reporting the first WIP; here's the basic pencilwork. Feedback welcomed and encouraged. Sooner the better, because modifications will become increasingly difficult to apply once I start colo...
2020-06-15 07:52:05 +0000 UTC View PostI should mention that I would like to aim to post three charged artworks each month. In this precise order (because I imagine it's decreasing order of value):
1. The voted picture
2. A random picture of my own design
3. An old picture (currently purged from Pixiv by the admins)
(Obviously, the voted picture will not be available on June because there was no survey on May. And I will quickly run out of old pictures—I only have four in mind, at the moment.)
That'...

Here's a preview of the survey I'm planning to run from June 20: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeBoxsS6M-nconGaPA682kCJqfIhzdzp9w3OSjuk5Mwmcte1A/viewform?usp=sf_link
It's just a preview; any votes cast on it will be ignored. I'm doing this to get feedback before going online. So play with it a little cho...

See the attachments below. Open with Krita. It's free.
For minimum hassle, you want to place T179.kra and noise.png in the same directory.
Most layers are hidden by default. I do this because it substantially reduces the file size, perplexingly.
Make sure the Layers docker is visible (Settings > Dockers > Layers) and enable the "visible" icons:
