Part of my re-emergence as someone who actually produces things (fingers crossed!), is that I've started drawing every day. To be fair this is a lot easier in quarantine land, when my work computer and my art computer are two feet from each other instead of a dozen miles and a 45 minute commute. Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates lately. Thanks for sticking around!
Basically what's happened is that despite my continuing will to work on The Weekend, I've hit the point where the stupid Twine editor is too much of a hassle to overcome with the limited time and energy I have to actually sit down and write. The game is also way too complex and has too many plot-holes for me to do much with it in its current state.

Surprise! This is a small update that has a bit more content for escaping the ball with Anna.
I took an unexpected break due to some real-life stuff (don't worry, nothing bad) that ended up lasting longer than I would've liked. I probably should've said something here, but I kept hoping I'd have time to write more and have an update for y'all. Well...I finally did, so here's an update.

Hey everyone, sorry for the long period of radio silence. As I get closer and closer to finishing The Weekend, I've started to think about future projects, and specifically how I want to approach them development-wise. I've learned a ton working on The Weekend (and Thin Walls, too), and although I appreciate the benefits of Twine (and Sugarcube especially), I'm strongly considering utilizing a different framework for my next project. Looks like I'm going to miss this month's release. I've got some new content for The Weekend, but it needs a little more work before I'm comfortable putting it out there.
I will likely do a release early in November, though (probably within the first week). I may even end up doing two November releases if things go according to plan. It all depends on how much time I have in the evenings to write.

Hey guys, smaller but significant update here. This one has a bit more after the island if you went there with Amelia and Francis, as well as some new illustrations (if I remember correctly).

I've made a little progress this month, but the post-island scenes are proving to be really tricky to get right. I've scrapped a rewrote things several times and I feel like I'm finally on the right track, but I don't feel good about charging you guys for such a small amount of new content.

Really sneaking this one in at the last possible second, but I promised an update so here it is. Also my webhost decided to shit the bed when I was uploading this, so I blame that on the lateness! But to be fair I didn't quite finish everything I wanted to, but there's a decent chunk of new content.
Main things are scenes with Tobias and Sophie after Rosa, and a hint of what's coming next on the yacht branch.

And so it continues! As I mentioned before, this release contains the resolution to meeting Rosa on the island. If you want to playtest, remember that you can get to this scene from several different ways, and it will go a bit differently depending on what happened previously in your game. Specifically, there are different resolutions for going to the island with Sophie (from the party), Tobias (the whole Saturday with him), and then by yourself.

Well this one ended up a little different than what I'd planned. But in a good way!
