Hi everyone! Really in love with idea on this one - and I hope you can feel that.
What started off as a simple idea with one tower somehow turned into designing a garden view with several small structures. Always loved small places like this, probably because most times they have a single purpose and were built only for this. This much of an effort for a garden house tells me that the work has to be meaningful to those who built it, which is just a beautiful thing.
Anyways, ...

Hey everyone! I recently stumbled upon the concept of dove houses, and realized how much they fit into the world of Argenta.
Having one of these in the corner of gardens sounds so cool somehow, I can imagine rich merchants having them at their mansions.
The concept of mail and messages in worlds that aren't as modern as ours always fascinated me - getting a letter must have meant way more back then.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to drawing this one - the roofs wil...

Hi everyone! Here is the finished piece! I was a bit slower than usual because I had some commissions to take care of, but here we are!
Felt the need to draw a proper sanctuary again, a place to mentally get some rest. 🏡
I'm on holidays next week, so I'm looking forward to draw as much as possible - my mind is overflowing with some ideas, but I really want to get more courageous with my compositions and direct more attention to it.
Anyways, you'll soon hear from me with a ne...

Hi everyone!
I felt like remaking this old piece you see as the second picture and that I made a while ago - but thinking about how to make it better.
I also thought I'd describe some of the things in the sketch, which is what I usually do with sketches for commissions. Because of course, in my mind it's crystal clear that these will be beehives, but to you they might just bee blobs of paint ^^ sorry for that pun, it had to be done.
Anyways, I hope you like it. I went ...

The sky temples of Amenti were built to be as close as possible to the god of wind. The black stone was a gift from a king in the North, and has been a symbol of balance since then.
I realize this piece isn't extraordinary in any way, but there is beauty in simplicity.
I've also been wanting to draw one of the black stones for some time, as I am frequently dreaming of them.
I hope you like it!

Hi everyone!
I wanted to return to some Sky Cities. Not too sure about the flora there though, I might change it to something of a warmer climate.
The high stone will have tourmaline traits, and I currently worry about the lighting. I guess I should plan this ahead with scenes that complicated^^
Anyways, I hope you like it. My weekend has been calm and nice so far - I hope yours will be as well.
Take care

Always enjoyed these little scenes so much when playing games, yet never dared to do one. It felt like it was going to turn out really bad at first, but then gradually it improved more and more, and I had more and more fun. Sometimes it really pays off to stick with something like this. Putting in the lighting was a joy.
I hope you like it!

If you'd like to have a different resolution (for example for PC or an iPad, just message me :D
Took up a small series of commissions this week, amd feeling glad about it. It came into my life right when I needed it - as usual.
Anyways, I hope you like these - I'm looking forward to share my next piece with you!

Hi!
The locals here are talking about these ritual stones on top of a hill near the village as a place of power, and that the water has the might to bring great fortune or despair to you if you drink it.
What makes this place special though is not that it inherently possesses a power, but the people who gather once every new moon between these stones.
Many children made it a dare game to look into the water, but were too afraid too drink it. Some even dared to...

Hi everyone! This will be one of those drawings that reveals the kind of person that looks at it.
Some people just look at this and shrug it off as some ritual stones, others will be intrigued and start imagining what their purpose is. This attitude is like a silver line in each of our lifes, which just makes everything way more interesting.
I'm looking forward to exercise my "stone game" with this ^^
take care

Here it is! The mood and weather was actually so hard to do, and I'm not entirely content with the piece when looking at it - I learned some small things about technique. I feel like the pixels themselves have started to get more clean as I'm putting more attention to this. That means less gradients, which to some people might feel worse, but gives the brain a more clear sense of distinction between things - they don't feel to blurry where things shouldn't be.
Anyways, looking forward t...

Well hello there! Read about the Gondolin, the hidden city of the elves in the first age of middleearth, and felt inspired to do a city with ivory white houses and walls myself. The weather will be a challenge - I thought about having clouds to emphasize the free skies at first, but they'll probably distract the eyes from the city.

I wanted to tap into more symbolism, so here we are. Not too sure about the setting, but I like the vibe it gives off. I know it's a bit different to what I usually do, but it opened the door to create more magical scenes. These don't always have to be so mystical, they will probably be more whimsical. Looking forward to creating more!
Really enjoying the pixel art, it is so cool to have a restricted art form that is such a big field to discover at the same time!

Hi everyone! So here we are, a new piece that will go into the realm of symbolism. I'm really interested in drawing the darkness, as I don't have too much experience with this. Also, the two stones one the pillars will probably be a blast, they will be inspired by the two ancient stones "Urim and Thummim", if you have read the Alchemist, you might be familiar with their concept. Not so sure about the darkness though, I'll have to think about it (about the stars).

Hi!
Well, here we are - back in the comfort zone, and it has to be done from time to time. Always loved these houses, and I wanted to get in that cozy feeling with the lighting situation. The trees must sound so nice when the wind rises. I hope you like it!
Next up, I'd like to tap into symbolism, and start playing more with the mood that the artworks give off. But for now, it was good to return to what feels good - we can't just always push our skills just for the sake of pushing th...

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for your support!
While the last two pieces we're cool to do and each of them a challenge, I wanted to return to my path again with this one - so naturally you'll be seeing lots of green again. So far I plan on making the roof blueish, the walls white and stone frames in a soft tone. Really looking forward to immerse myself in this one, it reminds me of some of the lovely houses that I saw in Ireland and Scotland.

This is a scene in one of the many South Argentian temples of learning, where wisdom is shared by the elders, and sometimes actually heard by the younger generations.
The natural caves in these mountains have been expanded and used for hundreds of years, as the stone of this mountain holds great power, and so, whole cities have developed in these cliffs.
The whole artwork has yet been another piece that didn't pull me in too much – I love the imagination of such a city, but the ...

Hi! Coming to you with a new sketch! A completely different setting this time, I'll make the walls out of sandstone or something similar. The stone levitating in the middle of the room is an actual reference to a piece of an iron meteorite that I possess, it still sometimes blows my mind to imagine that piece of metal to possibly have come from another galaxy, only to be in my hands right now. Anyways, this ritual meditation room holds many secrets - the Southern kingdoms of Argenta have deve...

Hi everyone! Finished the diorama, and I'm kind of torn between liking the diorama itself, but not really loving the scene itself. Loved the idea of drawing these slices though - and I took the chance to draw a new kind of tree.

Dioramas have always fascinated me since I was a child.
There is something so cool about imagining all the hidden small worlds that the eye does not see. I plan to make lots of little details, with the Menhir and the lantern being the part that is human made to give it a bit of context. Looking forward to try something new with this!

Hi everyone!
Really proud of this one! We recently watched "Tales from Earthsea" from Ghibli Studios again, and I loved the little farm in the movie so much that I immediately had to draw one myself!
As promised, we turn away from the big city again and look at how life could be in the countryside. No idea where our journey through the lands of Argenta lead us to next - usually I have some kind of vague idea at least for the next piece before I even finish my current one, th...

Hi!
Wanted to share my next artwork with you, I thought it looks neat to get in some values already, so you can actually understand what's going on :D As promised the artwork returned to a more simple life on a farm in the county, in the second piece you see the part I already worked on, as usual I start with what's in the background, and already render most of it directly. Looking forward to drawing those mossy walls!
I also reworked my profile picture (attached), and wanted to s...

Here it is! 500 by 500 pixels, and around 25 hours of work. Don't know if I'm going to ever do that again. Ah who am I kidding, I'll fall for the trap again and again.
And even though next time I'd like to make it less complex from a technical standpoint, I feel pleased with its composition. Also always wanted to draw a fountain in a city, and I hope it was done well. Looking forward to the next piece, it will probably tell of more simple life in Argenta.
I'm sorry that I po...

Hi everyone! First time drawing water this way, and the second crop for the full artwork. I hope you like it! Fountains are always so fascinating - I just had to draw one. There is something so perfect about listening to flowing water, I sometimes listen to water sounds walking through the streets, it calms my mind.

Hi everyone! Another piece done! I went from 250x250 Pixels to 500x500, which not just doubles but exponentially increased the work needed to finish it. Oh well, it is done now, and this is only a crop. Looking forward to sharing everything with you!
Always loved the idea of living in a small fantasy town, and the pixel art kind of gave me the courage to tackle this in my art.

Hi everyone! Here's the next piece! Looking forward to the colour play with this, it also gets a bit more complex than the last one. Love how it will go "into" the drawing, I want the viewer to focus on the path. The pixelart is SO much fun!
Learned a lot with this one, yet stayed true to my colours themes wise.
Dared to animate it a bit, and I think it looks really cool although I still have to learn tons. Feels good to be challenged again though.
I hope you had an amazing Christmas, and that you have a few days off for yourself. Thank you for being here, I appreciate it a lot 🌱🏡
Take care.

Hi everyone!
As you can see, I tried a new approach. It was a ton of fun, and now I fear people not liking it as much as my other stuff. But in the end, art has to be what speaks out of me, and if I lose a few followers because I try out different things, so be it.
I really hope YOU like it though, as I feel responsible for making art that you like as my patrons. 🏡
Got some feedback from my artgroup on this one, the composition used to be a lot flatter in the beginning. P...

Hi everyone!
Wanted to show you this - it was a ton of fun, and I'm actually thinking about making the next piece with pixel art. It looks a bit blurred, might need to find some tweaks for this. Of course this is just a simple scene, but imagine how cool it could look with more complex ones!
Needless to say, I'm pretty hyped right now!
I hope you like it even when the style is so completely different.
Take care
