Manic Analysis-"Without Me"

I analyze the diction, imagery and literary devices used in this radio bop from the Manic album. I also discuss Halsey's tone throughout the song, as well as how this song fits into the album as a whole.

Hey guys! Unfortunately, I am not feeling super well today, as I am having a lot of issues with my back (I slipped a disk a few years ago, and every now and again it will start giving me a lot of trouble). As much as I want to make a video for you guys, I genuinely do not think I can sit up long enough to do so.

Graveyard Analysis

Hi, everyone! I was planning on doing a video for you guys today, and when I pulled up the track list for Manic, I noticed that the next track title ("Graveyard") looked awfully familiar. I double checked on YouTube, and sure enough- this was one of the original Halsey songs that I analyzed on YouTube a few months ago.

I discuss Halsey's use of juxtaposition throughout this strange and wonderful song. I also look at their usage of diction, syntax, imagery, alliteration and (possibly) allusion. This song is incredibly well written and extremely layered. 

"Clementine" Video Postponed

Good morning! So my son's school district cancelled all classes today because of Hurricane (now Tropical Storm) Ian. Basically our county is experiencing some heavy rains and high winds, and I think the district is worried about power outages across the county. All of that being said, I have my little boy home with me today and my husband is currently quarantined upstairs with COVID. So...I will not be able to make a video today.

Hey guys! Thank you so much for your patience regarding this album. I know last week was rough, but I appreciate your thoughts and prayers regarding my family emergency.
