The curious case of Super Adventure Island

So like usual, I went to load up Super Adventure Island in Diztinguish to begin the decomp when I was presented with an issue: the initial screen with rom parameters was all ???? and I could not click OK. I could not load this rom.

Further research on the SNES Development Discord determined that the rom header actually had the rom name extending one byte too far, leaving the rom with no rom "type" (lorom, hirom, fastrom etc).

A simple fix was replacing that byte with $20 and now i...

Shin Nekketsu Kouha - Kunio-tachi no Banka - Fastrom

This one was easy as it was written for fastrom, so a quick conversion was necessary.

FASTROM Header Patch

I have not been changing the headers on these patches as it does not actually affect FASTROM speeds, however, some emulators and tools are showing them as SLOWROM and people get worried or confused.

This is an optional patch that you can use to change the headers to fastrom. Works on all patches!

Looks like there is! You'll find that someone has collected all the fastrom patches by other people as well as the ones I've been submitting to RHDN.

Super Turrican - Fastrom v2.0

Idk what I was doing with the last build, I missed so much. And it ended up being one of the most complex conversions I have ever done.

Sound is now fixed and its fully fastrom! 

One bug is that leaving the game to do attract mode demonstrations will lockup when loading the 4th attract mode demo.

Currently the fastrom build of Super Turrican has no sound...troubleshooting this.

Final Fight Guy - Fastrom

Sometimes you just wanna be "the guy"...and this game lets you do that!
