I have been dealing with some health problems this week, though it hasn't hampered development too much. I should be getting better within the next few days, so I wouldn't worry about it.

What was unfinished previously for the update two weeks ago was finished and pushed out yesterday alongside some bug fixes. Regarding the content poll, as of writing this, the third option, 'Outer Area (Opposite Mary, different environment. New Playable Character - Arrogant Elf)' on the poll for the content of the next update has the most votes on the Discord, so that is what the focus will be on.

The scene set involving a hole to the East of Castaway Port has been finished, and the shorts scenes in the Casino and involving the weird mushrooms has been added. Some bug fixes were also made. The same links posted for V0.090 still work.

Update V0_09 has just dropped for GoF Island. I wasn't quite able to finish everything by today, so I'll be working on the rest this week, apologies for the delay. What's currently missing is some of the scene set for the hole outside Castaway Port, the small mushroom scene, a small scene that will be in the Casino, as well as some non-scene NPCs outside Castaway Port.

GoF Island V0.09 Early Access

Update of GoF Island for filling in content in the Bandit Camp, adding a new 'show battle' to the Castaway Port Pub, and part of a scene set in a hole East of Castaway Port.

The rest of the planned content: the finished hole scene set, Casino short scene and mushroom scene, will be worked on and hopefully pushed out some time this week. Apologies for the delay.

Bandit Camp stuff is finished and work on the scene set has started. Not sure if I'll have everything finished by Sunday (15th), but whether I am or am not, I'll try to push out what's finished by that day and whatever isn't will be added the following week.

Work on the Bandit Camp fill-in content is finishing up. As said on last week's post, I'll move to working on stuff outside the Port, a couple small things in the casino, and the mushroom scene after finishing stuff in the Bandit Camp.

Began development of content in the Bandit Area. Most of it will be available when the quest related to the Bandit Camp is active, but they will be viewable in the gallery as well as per usual.

Bit of a slow week. Did a bit of play testing for the first enemy and got some progress done on the second enemy, though I don't believe I'll have the second enemy finished for the next update. I'll be moving on to working on the non-battle content this week.

First enemy of new combat style is finished up finally. It's clear that I won't be getting 5 of these 'battles' by next update release, though. Instead of 5 battles, it will be less battles, but with more scenes per battle in comparison to the usual battles. Plans still haven't changed, I'll continue with these enemies for this week, and then work on the other update content after. Whatever time is left over I will use to return to the battle stuff. Building of the first 'enemy' continues, though it's nearly finished; I've developed more than I thought I would for this single battle. I don't won't to develop the other 'enemies' in this set with less content, however, putting me in a weird spot. For now, I plan to continue 'enemy' development for the next two weeks, and then pivot to the other content (connectors/paths outside Castaway, and the bandit camp). I'll return to finishing up the enemies once the rest of the content is finished....

Development for the first 'enemy' with the new / alternate battle method has started. I've decided to move the (first) place you can participate in these 'battles' from the Casino to the Pub, since that makes more sense to me. It doesn't really affect much, besides the location being different and needing a few dialogue changes.

This week was the release of the first split of filling in content for the existing areas. So I'll be moving on to working on the 2nd split. Development in the Castaway Port content continues. It's been progressing slower than I would have liked, so I don't think I'll have anything extra completed by the release, but I'll try by best to make sure I at least get the Castaway Port stuff completed.

Finished what should be the last major 'coding/eventing/whatever you call it' thing for this update. The rest of the work should mostly be building scenes now. The split I talked about before is almost certain to be happening at this point, so there should be an EA release by the 15th of July. As a reminder, it won't be all of the content for the fill-in update yet, just whatever I get finished by then. The rest will be finished up after.

Slow week, but I've finished the mini boss and started working on the other fill-in stuff.

It's taken me about this long to realize that filling in these areas is going to take longer than usual. I'm probably gonna split the update into two so there isn't too long of a wait for an update. That means there will likely be an EA release in the next few weeks, but it won't be the entirety of the fill-in content yet.

Another solid week of progress. Edits on all the images are more or less completed, meaning I can move on to the event building/scenes/battles. This week, I made excellent progress with the image generation for the next update. I already have most of the images I need generated, and I can go ahead and move on to editing them this week. I'm very happy it only took around a week to generate them this update, compared to nearly a full month like last update. Hopefully, this pattern can continue in the future, and maybe I can get this update out a bit quicker compared to the previous update too.

I've started generating the images, and my goal is to have them finished quicker than the last update (last update the issues and then solution combined resulted in the images taking almost a month). GoF Island V0.07 Early Access

Update of GoF Island for the Catacombs of Wrath Dungeon! Major additions include the dungeon (go East out of Castaway port, then southeast), 4 new enemies, a dungeon boss, and a couple new moves for Mary (check the blue crystal in the DEV room for saves from previous versions to get the moves)!

The dungeon boss is finally finished! All that's left are some finishing touches on some events, and bug fixing!

Enemy development continues. 4/5 enemies are more or less completed. Only the dungeon boss, bug fixes, and finishing up some events are left!

I might be able to squeeze the update (Early Access) into the end of this week, otherwise, it should be ready by early next week.

Poll - Faces!

I've received feedback before that the addition of more visual emotional expression would be a nice addition. I agree, and I think I have enough currency for the AI generator I use to play around with it some!

I plan on using a model with simpler coloring since I find the more detailed models to not handle scaling well. This means the faces may look a bit different from the faces for the detailed version, but I'll try my best to keep them as similar as possible!

Once the enemies are finished, there will just be a few things to finalize in the dungeon, and a few bug fixes. After that, the next update should be ready for release!
