While it's been difficult for me to focus over the past week, it's become much much easier over the past two days. I've finally got my sleep schedule back on track, too. Progress Update: 3/12/18

In short, nowhere near where I wanted to be, and at this point I feel like I owe everyone an explanation.

The good news is that this represents the hardest material to edit, so it's smooth sailing from here on out. But last week, I couldn't bring myself to open the editing program on Thursday or Friday.

Gonna be honest: I'm bushed. I've had one day off in the past two and a half weeks, and I was up until 11:00 last night working. Here's a picture of the timeline for the narration! I was almost right on the money: the narration itself turned out to take up 28 minutes, so it should be about 30 minutes long since there's going to be a decent amount of other footage in there as well. What Reward Tiers would You Like to See?

This is something I've been putting off for a long time. I've thought extensively about what I want to have beyond the two basic tiers so far, but I'm at a loss. And so, I'm coming to you all to ask you: what would you like to have for reward tiers?

Progress Update: 2/19/18

This has... not been a good season for my well-being.

Long story short: acute tendinitis in my left hand, likely caused by playing hurdy gurdy for hours at a time without breaks. Was driven to urgent care and prescribed powerful anti-inflammatories. Loss of use of my left hand wouldn't have stopped work except that the pain was unbearable. Shortly after this happened, there was a significant personal upheaval, but this isn't the place to talk about that further.

This last week has been a bit nuts! After an arduous production process, my most recent video was launched. Strangely, it only took a few hours for ads to be approved, though I didn't receive e-mail notification until the following morning. Very odd. Still, I'm glad to have gotten the video out as soon as I did.

Last week was a nice and focused work week. I'm still recovering from my sinus infection, but I was able to power through it and get all of the editing done.

Principal Editing Finished

At long last, the principal editing for the newest episode is finished. Total runtime is approximately 39 minutes, but it's a thick 39 minutes. Tomorrow I'm adding the zooms and the end credits, then exporting and uploading to YouTube to await approval for ads. Depending on how long that takes, it could release anytime between tomorrow and maybe Tuesday, if I'm being pessimistic.

Strap in, because this is going to be a really weird one.

Nothing. I got nothing done.

Remember when I mentioned last Monday that I'd caught a cold? Well that very quickly turned into a sinus infection, and the pain associated with it was crippling. I was in bed almost the whole week attempting both to control the pain and prevent the infection from progressing into something even worse.
