An EP for which I played the hurdy gurdy is now available, named "Answerer." This project is the brainchild of the composer for Down the Rabbit Hole, Ryan Probert, who took my improvisation and turned it into five experimental electronic pieces. The one exception is Track 3, in which he gave me sheet music to use. Still, on every track, the goal was to create an "organic" feeling, which was an interesting challenge given the mechanical nature of the instrument.

1. Progress updates stay weekly
2. Progress updates happen when major events occur, i.e. an awesome source is found or a phase of production is finished, such as scriptwriting

I've essentially taken the week off as I wait for my research assistant to get through the book, which isn't a dig at them at all since it's quite thick and they're doing this in between their day job, but it has left me twiddling my thumbs a bit. Second book my research assistant was able to acquire through interlibrary loan. Should arrive next week.
Progress is halted until second book comes in.
Ryan is working on concepts for music, and Arcaxon is already working on the graphics.

This is one of my favorite short horror stories, and I feel privileged to get to share this with you. It seems to be rather rare, as a cursory search for a PDF online turned up nothing. Enjoy. In terms of the iffy vocabulary, which is minimal, please keep in mind that this story is from 1939.

Happy new year, everyone! I just got back from my holiday break, and I can't even begin to describe how much better I feel. 2019 was difficult in many different ways for me, but I'm reinvigorated and excited to get working in a way that I haven't felt in a long time.
