Alrightttttyyy this is a pretty cool tutorial and my FIRST random sound generator. I plan to do more of these throughout time, but I wanted to show you guys how I made my first one utilizing tools you guys should all be familiar with. All you need is ableton stock plugins and serum to make this work :)

Hybrid Reverb's shimmer algorithm is absolutely goated for creating atmosphere in songs. Could you maybe just crank a stock reverb to 60 seconds of decay and get a similar result? Maybe... but I think the shimmer algorithm cuts the headache out completely and makes this technique seamless to create ambience out of just about anything!

My buddy KEETZ taught me this trick a while back to split the mids and sides in an ableton rack and then mid side eq boost and cut certain frequencies INTO saturation to get a little extra grit out of what you are looking for.
I recommend MSED as it's a free plugin but I demonstrated with an ableton utility just in case!
