you know how sometimes you have the best ideas in the shower? the idea for this character design came to me in the shower the other day, and as soon as i was out i rushed to my computer to doodle it. he has no name yet, and i'm not entirely sure of what he is--but i'm leaning towards a kind of hellhound??

alright, time to talk about this coral reef guy. i had a kind of instant idea of what i wanted him to look like in terms of his anatomy and features. he has webbed hands and long webbed feet, for swimming. they make him a bit clumsy on land, though--which i personally think is oddly adorable. just imagine this scary sea monster waddling around on land on the webbed toes of his awkwardly long feetsies. but he's basically an ancient spirit type of creature with some magic up his sleeve, so he can ...

some doodles of my boy akhuru! you've seen him before in some smut art. he's a sphinx, and like so many of my characters he's a shapeshifter, so he's got lots of fun forms to draw. i'm honestly still working on the details of his design; this is me thinking with my pen, getting to know the character better with every sketch.

i swear, i really just intended to draw 4-5 close-ups of sitri getting wrecked by ariel and logan, but i kept coming up with new angles and poses and moments i wanted to draw, and got carried away. way away. before i knew it i ended up with 18 little pictures, and when i put them in a somewhat chronological order it reads a lot like a mini-comic... 

but hey, i'm not complaining! it was good practice for my upcoming comics.
