Here's a fun fact: Deni and Uma used to be just one character. She was Zira's friend and cousin (their fathers were brothers). She was also Mufasa and Scar's cousin, since her mother was Uru's sister. In my current headcanon, Uma's mother and Zira and Deni's mother are sisters, and Uma's father is Uru's brother. And Deni and Zira share a mother and Deni's father is Uru's other brother.
