Small release extension for 0.93

Hey guys,

So I just finished conferring with the CG team and they requested a deadline extension for Monday. The patch is nearly finished and code wise should be ready tomorrow, but they're having some difficulty getting the new character right.

It's the first time they're drawing Alexandra and she's getting two scenes this patch, as such we ask you for a bit of understanding and we'll bring the patch out Monday instead of tomorrow so the CG team can get this right.

Possibly great news!

We are currently testing a new script that will allow us to go further than the limits established by RPG Maker. Enterbrain (the developer of RPG Marker VX Ace, the engine we use to build Fleeting Iris) has set a limit on the resolution of the game to 640x480 and hence why our game has that resolution as a max.

Going through this limitation was almost impossible because it's against the engine TOS to edit the dll's and the executables, it is also extremely difficult to create a script ...

v0.93 Release Date

Hey everyone!

Yes, yes. I know. Everyone is excited for the red dress Ayame!

Here's the thing, we believe we can release the game Friday the 28th of June, and therefore, we're going to set the release date for Friday the 5th of July!

We're going to give ourselves a little maneuver room so we don't have to ask for a couple days later on in case we're missing a couple CG's or whatever it is. We want to have time to properly flesh out the bugs, make some last minute changes...

Today we will have a reveal of 3 new costumes for 3 characters (technically 4) and the reveal of a new character! I hope you guys are excited because we're really proud of the outcome! Currently we're trying to aim for a June 28 release, we can only say for sure closer to the date, but that's our wishful thinking goal.

Before that however we want to release a v0.92B which will have a few bug fixes, dialogue changes, quality of life changes, npc's and soundtrack additions, as well as fully implementing the sex partners script in the game. With the current work we have left and the pace the CG team has been delivering it we estimate that our release date will be Friday the 3rd. I know we said we meant to release a patch this month as usual, regardless of what happened in the past patch but we might have taken a bigger bite than we can chew.

Small update

Since everyone is not on Discord.

First of all, we are now live on SubscribeStar as an alternative to Patreon for those who like alternatives, so, yay!

Second and most importantly, as expected I wasn't able to to release the patch yesterday, but we definitely want to finish it this week. I wish I could get a small break but after this I'll have to start working immediately on the next patch if I want to do that one at a moderate pace as well.
