so i caved to the will of the people and i did a cut test.  i went nuts on a pumpkin.  whats really funny is in the public version im going to release tomorrow, the rest of the people wont see it lol! so here is the set up its going to be at the very end and im going to have a battery low light flashing at the end and then just cut to black right before i do the cut. they can either join like you all have done and shown me amazing support or they can wait until part 3 where i will s...

The smallest ring dot

 This was not easy to make.  It was a lot of time with a jewlers saw and fine fine sand paper to make the tool to make rings that small. I am friggin in love with those! As always you all will have first dips on this blade once its carved.

Now my big question is do I use small on it the whole way or bring in my other sizes too? What do you think?

Its time

Well its time to start...  I hope to post again at a a successful sun rise holding a blade.  Wish me luck.  This is the one night of the year when that really matters.  
Its warm.  The wind is blowing.

Halloween

Tonight I am forging a dagger under the full moon on Halloween.  I hope I have the witches luck to finish by dawn.

These two are carved from elk antler and are meant to be a pair showing equal and opposites.  I will not separate them.  Keep one and give one to a friend, partner, family members, whatever. They need to stay connected somehow.

Part 1 of making a frankish seax

This is going to be pretty cool.  i needed a project to dust off the cob webs from my surgery and damn how i throw the hammer has really changed.  its going to take a while to build those muscles back up.

Happy 1st day of Halloween!
I got my new witch hat in. The internet is awesome. I love making friends all over the world who have neat crafts of their own. This is all hand made from wool. Im sure OSHA wouldn't approve but its the spooky season! So broom on.

Engagement

So I lost 42 patrons so far and 95% are saying a lack of posts. So if that's something thats wanted then I'll do more posts here and more behind the scenes sort of stuff so you have some more patron specific content. Sorry I didn't realize it was a problem.

Progress

I think i finally found the right clay to use.  That has been such a hard time.  It still cracks but im adding some cut up grass so let's mix this up and see how it tests.  I need clay for the charcoal maker and the steel and bronze making too.  It has to be able to hold insane levels of heat so fingers crossed

Best way

 to end a 14 hour day? edit video until dawn because ive been working on a call bloom steel seax with some left overs from the anthro vidoe series ( im not releasing them until I have four so that way i can keep them coming consistent) but this bloom seax is pretty cool and ive posted some of it on my instagram but the process will be all here on the hammering of it.  ok im getting to work.  been killing it in the shop recently and there is so much coming that i cant even expla...

Motion!

soooo happy to finally get this in.  like things are going to look soo much better.  i have 4 videos im currently editing but im really happy to have this moving forward.  next step is get a gimble 

Update

Well not much has changed. Moving my arms is almost impossible still. Muscle is super crazy tight. Ive decided to just tell people to sod off when they try to push me go and make their orders after i tore a stitch. They don't give a fuck about me so im not focusing on them. So im on mostly rest at the moment.
My hands work fine though! So ive been carving a little. I made this for a knife blade I already had made, customer abandoned it due to my surgery. I have a lot of items coming...

I am still sore as hell.

i had some people play dirty on me and i pretty much made me get out into the shop and work 2 days post op.  sort of a give it to me now im not going to wait sort of deal so im a little exhausted from that.  over all i feel good.  muscles are sore as hell.  it feels like mike tyson beat the crap out of me entire chest but beyond that... im ok haha.

Hi

Lots of you are asking what I had done and I thought i had mentioned it but I had breast augmentation.  Not necessarily bigger per say but more so shape correcting.  It's something that has bothered me my whole life so hopefully this takes care of it i can move on to happier self image.  Most people think im pretty and are shocked I have self image issues but I do.  And the things I work on i am and the ones I cant accept I find a way to make it ok.  What I really owe...

I carved these on the summer solstice and then sanded them recently.  Bog oak from 10,000 bc and antler carved in an equal and opposite fashion. The sun, the mountains, the stars, and the trees.. Forgot to post pics.
