Black Roses Fridge Magnet

For months I've been looking for a suitable little extra gimmick for my upcoming Kickstarter campaign. Today I finally had a flash of inspiration. The magnet has the size of a mini deck card and I hope the company who created my last popsicle magnet is able to realize this idea. Due to the thin magnetic strip, this could lead to difficulties but we will know more soon. If this is feasible, you can look forward to further variations until your fridge door is full :D

Holographic Black Gilding (Video)

Your votes in yesterday's poll are pretty clear. You prefer black gilding. Before the survey went online yesterday, however, I already thought to myself - why not holographic black gilding? Black gilding on steroids. I wasn't sure if it's really possible but WJPC sent me the video today that you can above.

So we will have 2 x 250 limited gilded decks. 250 holographic gold gilded decks and 250 holographic black gilded decks. Both with a numbered seal sticker.

Gilded decks - your opinion is needed

Black Roses Phantom

The new printing company is crazy. It took them 12 days to finish the deck.
And the decks were on hold in the meantime because a 50K deck order was ahead of them.
On Monday they will add gilding on 200 decks. Then they are ready to ship.

Zoom in and take a closer look at the shadow on the back design. That was the only detail I was a little worried about because I didn't know how it would look printed. I couldn't be happier with the result.

The Black Roses 2014 replica deck and the Phantom Edition get printed with a different company in China. Their turnaround time is unbeatable right now, that's why I also keep it a secret where I print these cards. 🌝 However, they print on the same German paper, so you can expect the same high quality you already know from the Innocence Holo deck.

Modernization of the Dondorf courts

For the Dondorf deck, which I released in 2021, I photographed and digitized the face cards of an old Dondorf deck from the late 19th century. The idea of the deck was to recreate everything as faithfully as possible. That's why I didn't draw the court cards from scratch at the time.
