What did you do, Ellie? What did you do?

Moving right along! I'm going to do some more work on Page 78 tomorrow morning and if I can get the sketches tightened up the way I like, then I'll do another live stream to finish it off! If not tomorrow, them maybe an early one on Friday as I have work that night.

Chapter 7 Page update...

I'd been meaning to fix this page for a while as I had gotten Gwen's hair wrong. I also new that I wanted to rework her playroom. She is not confined to a basement. She has space. She has a budget. The updated third panel says so much more about her than the previous version and I'm very pleased with it. I posted the original so you can judge for yourself.

A new page of BLACK LABEL should be up next week. I think you're gonna like it! :)

2025 was the year I fell in love with drawing again! I've been devouring Color & Light from the Artist's Master Series and watching a lot of drawing videos. One of my goals for 2026 is to actually attend an art class.

It's been great having friends and family around but playing host has really taken it out of me, and severely cut into my productivity, so I'm looking forward to things going back to normal next week. I hope to have the next page of BLACK LABEL up next week. I know I've said that before, but after sharing the 'Not Crazy, Just Cozy' sticker last week, I got real excited to get back to it!

Reworked one of my favorite stickers and I'm very pleased with the results Going to include these in the January Mail Club Pack along with a matching print and bonus item. Gonna be a big sticker, too (4").

This really got me in the mood to draw more Ellie and Meg!

As I finally square away the script, we move into the final phase of Chapter 8. You can ignore the last two pages. When I have trouble working on a crop of pages, that usually means it's boring/repeatative/not-pushing-the-story-forward. So let's cut to the chase and get to the fun stuff!
