Mk the Zikan Despear update is out. Thankfully it was a lot nicer to work on than ZI-O Trinity. A challenge I'll come across later though, when making the Despear I tried to make a keyframe on the Zikan Girade so I could use it as a base for the weapon. However because of all of the ridewatches in the weapon it wasn't able to. It was too memory heavy for my computer. This will be a problem with the Zikan Zax, Zikan Jaclaw, or Ride Heisaber if/when they're done.

At work we have our regular 5 shows this week and I have to edit together 6 extra shows for the next week and the following Monday. That'd be the only thing holding me back from getting it out soon. Either because of being fully packed time-wise or from pure exhaustion.

The sounds for the cyclone riser and final main legend rider keys have been ripped. I knocked out an update for Zero-One's flash.
Wasn't hard to do since I used my time at the end of April to set everything up for these guys to be released. That way I didn't have to spend time doing the vectors now.
With the Cyclone Riser being a clone of the Force Riser it was easy to swap out the sounds. The henshin sound trigger had to be adjusted a bit though.

The sounds have been ripped for the humagear headset and remaining weapons for zero-one. I've added "take off toward a dream" to the patreon page of the flash as a little easter egg. I still don't plan to add the weapons to 01.
The only one I'm even slightly considering is the Thousand Jacker because it's been so heavily used by Thouser. Shoot it's less of a weapon and more of a meme at this point.

Made and finished the Ohma ZI-O watch today. Decided to pop out the ZI-O update without recoloring Geiz Majesty since I'll be doing the recolor work on it once the opened vector is finished. New update also had Bibill and the Woz ridewatches in there.

I have a version of the ZI-O flash with Bibill, Geiz Majesty, and the regular Woz ridewatch running. Majesty has the look of Grand ZI-O but the code is all goin. I want to replace that vector with the closed Majesty one, get the official Woz armor bg in place, and get Ohma Form's ridewatch in before the next update.
Once that update is pushed I'll shift my attention away from ZI-O for a bit, but I've already gotten a lot done with it this month and we're only 3 days in ;).

Ran into a big problem with ZI-O today. Seems that once the file size hits 100 mb dA doesn't want to show it anymore. I had to half the size of the ridewatch images thus shrinking their file sizes. However, that meant going through each instance an image is used in Flash and doubling the size so it would look normal. Each ridewatch has 2 instances of the image and there are over 120 watches. So that took a good chunk of time to fix.

I was able to knock out the vectors for 6 progrise keys today. I was able to do Dynamaiting Lion, Scouting Panda, Exeedcharging Faiz, Clockupping Kabuto, Orevisiting Den-o, and Wakeupping Kiva.
It's kinda weird. I don't think I've had 10 placeholders in a flash before, but I wanted to try and get as much out of the way before May so I could focus on other flashes until new material comes out for Zero-One.
Looking at the vote as it stands right now, it looks like ZI-O will get a go...

As I said earlier in the month this flash focus will be slightly different. You'll be able to vote as many times as you want. I highly recommend only voting for the top two, or max three, that you want. The higher percentage of votes that a selection has will mean more time will be spent on it vs the other ones.
Because of this new process there will no longer be runoffs. Both tied choices will receive updates. This poll will close Friday.

Rampage Gatling is coming along. The cover and back-end are done. I need to modify the back to connect the two pieces. Then I'll be able to recolor it and code.
Coding will be "fun" since there's so many features on it. My thoughts right now will be to just hardcode the "abilities" into each iteration. The finishers will be coded into the wheel at the back, but there will have to be different versions for the different drivers/risers. That will be the time consuming bit.

Been continuing work on Rampage Gatling. The gatling part is finished and I worked on the cover yesterday and today. The sounds were ripped today so they have been cut.
I've been trying to record every step of the way as a little extra for Legend Rider tier patrons. So once it's all finished I'll post that and you can see all of the work that went into it from start to finish.

I’m likely going to change how the flash focus poll works. Since Patreon already allows for multiple votes per poll I’m thinking about doing like a tiered system. This way you vote on all of the flashes you’d like to be a priority and I focus on the flashes in the order they are voted on.
If a flash has the majority I’ll spend the majority of my time on it. If a flash gets like 1 vote it may get nothing updated depending on my time available.

The vector for metal cluser is finished.
I'm working on adding it to the flash now. I've encountered a challenge I didn't catch until about a day ago. Because the key has to go under the driver and the end piece has to go over I need to create a system where that's possible.
I want to make this as simple but versatile as possible. That way if another key requires it it won't require retooling.

Here's a look at how much of MCH is done. You can see on the closed section I have the orange outline. I'm using the footprint of the opened version to help guide the look of the closed one. I thought originally that I would be able to copy paste the 6 hoppers on the closed version but they're all slightly different, but once they're done and the backgrounds between them are done I'll move to recolor the whole thing.

Been trying to power through the Metal Cluster Hopper vector. The backplate is done. I was able to finish up the left and bottom parts of it today. Had to get some new sources to make the vector line up better. Thankfully the top and right sides are just using the regular backplate design.
I still have to do the closed version before I move on to coloring.

Zero-One gets to be the sole flash focus this month.
I'm one of the two people who have to go into work for our show still so my workdays are still there, but I was able to work on recoloring the force riser. I slid the cyclone riser vector into the flash so it's ready to go whenever the sounds are ripped.

The quarantine may continue, but so will the flash work. I knocked out Perfect Kingdom this month and have been working on Metal Cluster Hopper.
I've also been working on the vectors for Burning Falcon and Fighting Jackal so I can use those for the menu selection buttons for the Slash Riser and Raid Riser. Originally I had Crushing Buffalo as the Raid Riser button, but because of Burning Falcon I wanted to make the buttons more identifiable.

Work continues on the Assault Wolf Progrise Key. Sadly, two days ago when I had time to work on it the fire alarm went off at our apartment building and I couldn't work for a few hours. Most of it is complete. I really just need to get the mid-caps of the far left-side done and then color it.
Lots of new risers/drivers to work on for Zero-One. Good news is a lot of code can be reused.

Just used my lunch break to cut all of the legend rider key sounds.
Been working on the vector for assault wolf. The sad thing is even though they’re the same shape, shining hopper and assault wolf do not share details. Like the speaker at the bottom is handled differently, when the key is open, the top right is handled differently, the left side is entirely different. So sadly it isn’t just copy and paste, but I’m chugging along.

I’m working to add the progrise keys to the thousandriver.
So behind the scenes there are 4 versions of each key. One for each main driver/riser. With 3 devices to go, thousandriver, cycloneriser, and raidriser, I don’t want that number of versions to climb.
What I’m trying to do is leverage the existing code in the Zero One driver version keys to use for the thousandriver. I believe that alignment is almost done and added.

Working hard on adding amazing Caucasus. It’s added some challenges depending on the driver.
For example the dual ways to insert the key into the shot riser are both not usable since the key opens on press. I’ve worked through these challenges to finish out the key.
Currently it runs on all existing drivers/riders and the code for the Zero One driver is almost identical to how the thousandriver will run keys.
