LOST EPISODE: Resident Evil Revelations 2

Hey everyone, we've had no real time to put together a video log this week with the Thanksgiving holiday in the US.

In the meantime, here's a "Lost Episode" that Try made back in 2015 when we were collaborating with the Rerez channel. Once that collab ended, we pulled the videos down and posted them all on our channel...except this one.

So, here it is for those that never had a chance to see it, 3 years later.

As we kinda talked about in our live stream on Sunday, we had prog...

Coury's GAMEMASTERS Fanzine & Try's N64 3rd Party Carts - 11.15.2018

Here's a fun one - Coury reads through the fanzine that he made with friends when he was 12 and Try mulls over his third party N64 carts. No hosting segments this week, as the GameCube HDMI adapter episode has turned out to be much more complex than anticipated.

The Best Way to Play Castlevania: Rondo of Blood & Symphony of the Night

New episode is up! So, the idea behind this is basically what we feel will be our new approach for game episodes. A bit of history then we dive into the best way to play these games, breaking down and comparing as many aspects between versions as we can. Essentially taking an RGB episode style approach and applying it to a game or series. Hopefully you like it!

A Look at Upcoming Documentaries

As you may know, we've been traveling a bit this summer shooting some documentaries. Here's a look at a number of them. Some are coming sooner, some are still in mid production and could be a ways off.

NOT included here are what we shot in Japan, because we're not allowed to show it yet.

A casual look at the edit timeline for RGB 106...

Hey everyone, it's Try here. As you may know, we've been doing a LOT of travel lately. We spent some time in the midwest in April, we were in Japan at the end of June, and now we're headed to the west coast (and back to Chicago) over the next week! All of this travel has been for about four or so different documentary projects of various sizes - it's a bit overwhelming, really!

And of course, we're still working on other types of content as well, including RGB episodes. The 4K TV episode (RGB ...

That new Patreon service fee

Hey everyone, Coury here. As you may have heard by now, Patreon has stupidly changed the way service fees are handled. Up until recently, the creator paid the transaction fee, but for some reason, Patreon has decided that the Patron will be the one to carry that burden instead.

You can get all the details here: https://blog.patreon.com/updating-patreons-fee-structure/

We wanted you to know t...

Night Trap Documentary Blu-ray - Patreon Exclusive Price

Hey everyone, Try here!

When Limited Run approached us asking if we'd like to sell Blu-ray copies of our Night Trap documentary as a sort of tie-in with the release of the game's remaster, we wanted to be sure that our supporters on Patreon had an opportunity to get a copy without having to worry about the Limited Run rush. We also wanted to offer it at a steep discount exclusively to patrons because we absolutely would not have been able to make this documentary what it is without your suppor...

Night Trap: 25 Years Later on Bluray

This disc includes not only the full NT doc, but also our mini docs on Limited Run themselves, HD Retrovision and CYAN. It also has RGB 100 hidden away (highlight our logo on the bonus feature page).

Night Trap: 25 Years Later

Hey everyone, I wanted to share this documentary that we put together on Night Trap. This has been a crazy journey, and we wouldn't have been able to do it without the support from all of you. Upcoming Documentary, Night Trap: 25 Years Later

If you have been following what we've been up to lately, you might have heard us talking about a secret project. Well, we can finally reveal what it is. Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition.

We went to L.A. to shoot an interview with Jim Riley, Co-Creator and Director of Night Trap. This interview will be edited and included as a bonus feature in the game.

In addition, in the new week or so we'll be releasing our documentary, Night Trap 25 Years Later. Its in the middl...

Introducing Video Game B-Roll

Hey everyone. We've been thinking a bit about additional things we could do with our game captures beyond My Life in Gaming episodes. We settled on a second channel we've called Video Game B-Roll. Its filled with raw footage, game selects, and archival footage without any kind of VO or anything.

We encourage people to download and use this footage for their own projects. Sometimes it can be hard to find high quality captures of stuff, so we hope to be able to fill that niche...
