It's time to save the day! Here's what I got done this week:

  • Applied saving and loading to every category in the Customizer

Ch ch ch... Ah ah ah... Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! Here's what I got done this week:

Only one bullet point this time, but ooooh boy do I have a lot to say about it!

TL;DR: I went through several methods of saving/loading, nearly lost a huge chunk of the project to one small mistake, had an existential crisis, and by the end of the week had a functional save system.

Happy First Friday, everyone! Here's what I got done this week:

  • Determined the new direction to go with gameplay

  • Gave each sprite a name and made the listed item name change each time a new one is selected
  • Made randomize buttons randomize sprites in addition to colors for each category

Ah, once again we come to the final Friday of the year! Here's what I got done this week:

  • Made sure the colors only apply to the parts that *should* be colored (i.e. eye whites should always stay white)
  • Made the default color buttons work with accessories
  • Made secondary sprites optional; clothes, hair, etc. may now have only one sprite without breaking anything.

  • Cleaned up: navel, breasts, butt, hands, feet, ears, vagina, back, legs, face, and pelvic area

Progress Report 9/2/2022

It's Friday! Here's what I got done this week:

  • Baked the shader into a texture on the 3D model (many times)
  • Finalized the UV map a few more times
  • Began drawing in details onto the body using PaintTool SAI

Fun fact: baking this particular shader in Blender takes about 35 minutes. 35 long, long minutes to fix that one thing I forgot to fix- oh, hold on. There's something else I need to fix. :x

It's the last Friday of the month, and I figure this is as good a time as any to get back into the swing of things! Here's what I got done during my absence:

  • Wrote pseudocode for two issues with the default color buttons
  • Unwrapped the 3D model into a UV map

  • Added the following categories to the "Extras" tab: "Animal Ears", "Tails", "Wings", and "Horns"
  • Added prototype sprites for animal ears, tails, wings, and horns
  • Made "Animal Ear", "Tail", "Wing", and "Horn" prototype sprites colorizable and sprite-swappable
  • Added a prototype sprite for the "Shiny" toggle in the "Body" tab
  • Made the "Wet" and "Shiny" prototype sprites toggle on and off...

Progress Report 7/22/2022

  • Made all remaining giantess sprites (in prototype form) swap with their respective buttons
  • Simplified the process of changing the colors of each different part without having to manually tie signals to each of them.
  • Made color toggles (eyes and nails) immediately change the color of their respective parts
  • Readjusted the positions of all the color pickers, which had jumbled up at some point
