Thought this might be fun! Here's the next 6 pages of Jaro, thumbnails this time. :D I'm having so much fun drawing and planning this. 

The script is done for the next 3 chapters which has helped a ton. I usually only write down really barebones stuff (like dialogue), but this time I've gone a bit further. And I feel like this way I have to amend the text immediately if I need to add or change anything, otherwise I'll definitely forget.

Wizards and their birds

Well, one wizard! Little girl who for now is called Ryhmy but very good chance I'll change that.

The only humans with any form of access to magic in the comic, are an old alliance of wizards. But their magic is dying out due to lack of people practicing it. The council has fallen to disrepair and the only ones left are an old, selfish head councillor and the pupils that she's been handed to by parents who can no longer look after their children.

Miikka scribbled me an idea for the wizard apprentices' robes. We'll see how much they end up developing from the original!

3 sketches - Jaro & the rats

Trying to pick one of these to finish first! Lot more background work on the last two but they'd also be really fun to get done. ♥

Still trying to pick a proper title for the story, but there's no rush.

Jaro and the shawl

Had a chance to reconsider the patterns on Jaro's shawl and hat. Going to go with the poppy and harebell theme even for her!

There's some more characters I still need to introduce to you, namely her guardians and a wizard girl and her bells. I'm likely going to reuse some of the troll characters from Small Trolls as I still really like them and we didn't get to give them enough time in the *cough* light.

I've got around to writing 3 chapters worth of script so far on top of that, ...

The rats are known as Rosa and Malin.

Poppies and Harebells

Bride and Groom for the giants story. Haven't decided on their names yet but you can see a theme here! 

He'll be mostly in white, with red poppies. I wanted to avoid using a white wedding dress on her, so it might end up being blue with light accents. Although I would've loved to have made her white with harebells to adorn the gown.

The colour and flowers carry as a theme otherwise too, namely the 'hills' that are named after them. Just need names now!

Giants - Concepts

Not entirely sure where I'm going with this concept yet, so it's very much unfinished!

This is a concept for a short story, for now titled 'In the Footsteps of Giants'

Majority of the ideas behind this are taken from Tistow lore, but whether or not the world the story is set in -is- Tistow, can't say for sure. There's some magic, trolls and giant rats. x3 Very much still in the same theme as with Tistow, where both magic and magical creatures are largely forgotten and feared.

Casting

Redrew some old sketches and added a few newer ones. Portion of the cast, I really do miss drawing them. :(

Mothling

Still waiting for the big reveal. :'D Nomi's Hollow Woods went live last week, but I'm still waiting for the rest to be shown before I can really share more of what we've been up to.

But this project ties completely to the song and I'm sure you can guess what it is!

Crowbar

Queen of the Bowline gang. D:< Been wanting to sketch her more but lacking ideas. So I went through Adorkastock's entire gallery looking for something that fits her character, found a few things! ♥

Loksley

Favourite ganger. The woman with the crowbar. I want to draw more of her so bad. :'D I've felt a bit funny about doing it though since she's a bit challenging one to portray properly.

Loksley started off as an RP character. She's still my no. 1 favourite from those times. She's not quite.. Callous, but she's definitely a sociopath. The docks are her domain and the gang is her family. If I had to compare her to anyone, the first character that springs to mind is Ma-ma from Dredd. I know,...

Concepts

Another one for Wildheart. ♥ The wolf ended up looking very different in the final iteration to what she is here, these were some of the first sketches I did of her. The owl is still one of my favourites, fun little guy. 

Baa

Concept art for a game that I did a year ago! The game in question is called Wildheart. I can't tell you which character this is, since I'm not sure if they're in the game yet and what name they ended up under, but this project was so much fun to do.

I'm involved in making designs for.. I want to say 9-10 different characters for the game. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they look like ingame!

Equestrian festival 1-3

This was a fun one! There's 3 more pages to this, but the setup is a bit.. Wonky and the remaining 2 slides haven't been released yet. Nor has the very last panel but it's part of the page so it made sense not to cut it out. x3

There's one more biiig comic that hasn't been released yet, I'm still hoping the date will make it for the end of this month so I could share it here with y'all!

More of this friendly chap! He's not changed a huge deal as a character over time, but my style definitely has refined him a little bit. I could spend ages drawing him though, he doesn't get as much attention as he deserves!

Two characters that I created for Star Stable's Equestrian Festical comic that's going live this month! One of them is called Potato. After Shetland Blacks. It's. ..It's a potato. And Potato is a Shetland pony.
