New ODAAT Ch. 17 Release Window

As per the poll done with high tier patrons who would have gotten Ch. 17 on April 30th if I could have gotten it ready by then. I am comfortable in saying now, that it's going to be a release in the first half of May.

Why am I giving a release window and not a date? Because, we're gonna go old school with this one and I'm just going to put it out whenever it's done. Rather than setting an arbitrary date I think it will be done by. That's fine under normal ...

Should I just finish the entire update if I'm close? (Poll Results)

I polled all the partrons who are $10 and above and as you can see it's unanimous, that they'd like me to finish the update entirely, even if that means a release in the first part of May. I'll let everyone know in a public message when it gets towards the end of the month where things stand. ODAAT Ch. 17 Release info Update (Please read I'll try to make it short!)

Ok guys, at this point I'm not liking how much time I'm going to have to complete the second day of the update with enough time to polish everything how I want to.

So, one of two things are going to happen, and I'm not saying this is the way it will be going forward. But, for this update because of all the shit that's happened to me during it, I'm considering releasing it in two parts. Because I feel like I'm rushing, and I don't think either of us (me or my community)...

Just some thoughts...

Every time I've done a poll about update length you guys have always voted that you like the big updates. So, that's what I continue to do. However, you're not speaking that way in terms of support. The big updates take much more time than say my Ch. 1 did. I realize Ch. 17 will have taken longer than any other update, but I had a whole lot of life coming at me during this dev cycle.

I'm looking at where I'm at now, and what I have left and what I have to go back and do (that's a lot of and's). But, when I do the math in my head, it just might be. I got a really fun idea for something I'm gonna tack on to the end of Ch. 17, and it could just put us over the edge! A lot of work left to do between now and then. But, we'll see!

We had this poll before but I thought I'd put it out there again. It was pretty unanimous last time, and I'll probably keep going with the two day format unless we get an overwhelming amount of people who say do just one day. Then I might consider it.

Remember this update would have been out at the end of March if I didn't lose like two and a half weeks to having COVID.

Hey everyone, just wanted you to know I've gotten a lot better and God bless the people who can go through COVID with a sniffle and no symptoms. That was not the case for me. But, as I said I am doing much better!

I just tested positive for COVID

This is my first time having it and Dad brought it home to me. I thought he just had a cold, but not so lucky. I am also not vaccinated, at the recommendation or my Dr's due the vaccine causing worsening neuropathy sometimes in people that already have it like me. So, I have almost all the symptoms (other than shortness of breath and chest tightness, knock on wood).

Another quick announcement about Paris

There will be a scene in the next update where you'll be able to get points with Paris. These are not relapse points, they are just relationship points. If you remember correctly I stated she's going to be the relapse path girl by default, but I ALSO started she'd get sober if you're not on the relapse path. So, if you think you might like her, you can get points with her no matter what path you're on. Cheers!
