I’m trying to think of a new color combination for the Evelina embroidery. We just added a bit of glitz to the embroidery, but I think this color is too similar to the navy and teal we did not too long ago. The first version was black and white. We also did a plum version, and the latest version, which is kind of a cobalt and orange is pictured above.

Here's a bit of film from a long-ago shoot in Paris with Christophe Mourthé. Catherine made me this beautiful corset with embroidered lace we found together one day when we were shopping for fabric.
Christophe's team did the hair and makeup, which was always a bit more avant garde than what I would choose for myself, but what do you think?
Dirty Martini and I had the opportunity to have a private visit at The Chicago History Museum to see Sally Rand's feather fans and some other archival photos she donated. Apparently when Sally first tried to donate her fans from the 1939 Chicago World's Fair sometime in the 80's, the museum refused, thinking she wasn't important enough, or that she was too risqué, which is absurd.
