Day 29 - 30 Day Challenge: Daddy is Bussy

Hustlin’. Workin’. Turning it out so I can feed you all. Thank you for being patient with me. Muahahaha…

Midnighter Works Nights

Happy Pride! This is pretty self-explanatory so I’ll let Lucas have the floor.

Day 28 - 30 Day Challenge: WALLPAPERS?!?

Happy post-Memorial Day- post!  Here's a new post, finally!  And what is this post of???? WALLPAPERS!  All of you are getting a peak at the 70s roller series that I've been doing on the Star Tier.  I've done a red version and a blue version and both come in short and long.  I optimize these for iPhone but they should work plenty well on other phones too.  ENJOY!

Day 27 - 30 Day Challenge: A New Hope

SKITTLES. Finally got my new computer. Ain’t it pretty? That means I finally have photoshop again which means y’all will be getting your wallpapers soon, if you’re in that tier. I was moving sooo slowly using just my iPad. You can get a lot done on it but it’s clunkier and cumbersome. I feel like I am finally back in action again and I thank you for sticking with me through the ups and the downs of mechanical failure after mechanical failure. Took some time away from work to see famil...

Blue Devil

I did a pin of a crying blue devil guy AGES ago and I haven’t drawn him in so long. I think he may be the final form of my Lil Devil from my Pink Knuckles series…

Day 26 - 30 Day Challenge: Jubilation Lee

Jubilee wouldn’t wear a gown, methinks. She’d be all attitude and sass, a little punk, a little glam. And yes her boots and pants are a one piece, I don’t make the rules.

I think I know who I’m going to do next, but as always, sound off on who you’d like to see next for the Hellfire Gala.

Angel in Red

Y’all get the full image, which isn’t particularly gratuitous but I gotta save some goodies just for you, yes? ;)

Day 25 - 30 Day Challenge: Vincent, The Angel

Felt like doing a little study of this pose real quick after getting some work out of the way. Didn’t really think too much on it just wanted to be aggressive and go for it. It’s fun to not think or plan too much sometimes. Just let the energy in you out and not worry about everything being so perfect.

Day 25 - 30 Day Challenge: Fireworks and Hellfire

Oh don’t you think I’ve stopped on this little series. This ones easy but who do you suppose this is?

Day 24 - 30 Day Challenge: Work And Sick And Stuff

Ok just a little sneaky sneaky peak of a cover I’m working on. Just got my second dose of Pfizer! Unfortunately, it has knocked me on my ass. I really thought I’d be one of the ones to come out with zero symptoms but the universe has conspired to put me in my place. Hope all of you are staying safe!

Day 23 - 30 Day Challenge: I Am Iron Man

Mr. Stark. You’re up.

Sorry this isn’t a pretty scan of the headshot but as I mentioned earlier, all of my technology has decided to die on me. So for now you get a snapshot. Which is kinda fun too cause then you really can see the texture of the paper and the paint.

Day 22 - 30 Day Challenge: Ask And You Shall Receive

Doing a headshot that was suggested under my last headshots post. Can you guess who this is??? 😜

Sorry posts haven’t been consistent. Daddy is under deadlines again AND my computer died so I’m working entirely off my iPad, which is fine, but cumbersome. May is kinda banana bonkers too, so I hope I can complete my final 8 days of this challenge soon, and get all your wallpapers and smut.

Day 21 - 30 Day Challenge: My Mess

As I’ve put in some work with therapy and a coach to unstuck my stuckness in terms of life and work and all that jazz, I have embraced the ways my brain works, and the specific structures I need to put in place. For so long, my husband and my friends have been telling me to keep a stricter google calendar on my phone so I can stay organized and on top of deadlines. But when I don’t want to do work, or I’m afraid of feeling pressured, it is all too easy for me to just, oh I don’t know,...

Day 20 - 30 Day Challenge: Orono Munroe

I have a feeling some of you may be less excited by my gala designs because they’re a little more real world than larger than life cape comics might necessitate. Either way I hope you enjoy!

It’s hard drawing characters outside of their normal parameters (hero costumes, obvious insignia or symbols to indicate a character). I definitely understand that for the sake of clarity and communication, you have to keep a character within a fairly narrow range of looks to signify which hero...

Day 19 - 30 Day Challenge: A Storm Is Coming

Ok FINE. We’ll do some Hellfire Gala lewks. I didn’t want to have to do this but. You all have left me no choice.

Day 18 - 30 Day Challenge: Many Tankyews

Lots of new subscribers cause of that Angel X Nightcrawler piece! Thank you so much for joining me here for the frivolity and fun! I know you enjoy my work cause of the superheroes but I hope you enjoy all the Pink Knuckles content I’m about to shove down your throats.

It’s been such a fun journey starting this Patreon. It’s like having a baby. It’s an obligation, sure, but a great one. One that keeps me productive and allows me to interact with y’all in a much more intimate m...

Day 17 - 30 Day Challenge: Icy, Spicy

He’s in progress. I’m sure you can guess who this is. Playing around with new approaches in Procreate, yet again. It really is fun to break out different styles and processes there.

Full image will only be available to Star Tier. Because of, well, the balls, taint, and crack that will be in full view.

Day 16 - 30 Day Challenge: Turnarounddddd

Yessss! For the next phase of Pink Knuckles I have to finalize their designs and do turnaround sheets for each fighter. I’ll also be sprinkling in full watercolor illustrations for each of them as well as Player 2 costumes! Oh! And a boss character. Every game needs a boss character. And unlockable characters? Oh gosh, I’m getting ahead of myself. Anyway, there are big plans for my lovely little warriors. So stay tuned!

Hwoarang X Jin

Tekken was my absolute favorite fighting game growing up. The Hwoarang/Jin Kazama rivalry was just oh so delicious to me, a baby gay. Sorry the smut has been so low lately. The 30 Day Challenge has me prioritizing the widest tier. But here. Enjoy some watercolor smut of my two fighting game babes working up a different kind of sweat. Which video game characters would you like to see next?

Day 15 - 30 Day Challenge: A New Challenger Appears!

Again...two new challengers.

I did it! I completed my 10 fighter lineup! Now these fighters are subject to change or get swapped out, depending on which ones I feel the strongest about, but for now, these are our final 10! I have been obsessed with mermaids since I was a wee baby gay, and at a certain point in my life, ninjas were absolutely my jam. I also used to be absolutely obsessed with roller blading (wow...gay on gay) so what could be cooler than a rollerblading ninja a la Mi...

Day 14 - 30 Day Challenge: Headshots For Sale!

Wow, I’ve gotten so bad at keeping up with this challenge! Apologies. I think once I already missed a few days and I wasn’t going to land 30 consecutive days of posting I really let myself slide. Ugh.

ANYWAY. Selling these headshots if Miles Morales and Geralt of Rivia for $250 a piece, which covers shipping if you’re in the US (would probably be another $10 for international). They are 6x9” and full watercolor, gouache, and color pencil and I love them like they’re my sons. <...

Day 13 - 30 Day Challenge: Little Devil (Boy)

Ok, y’all know Vincent, aka Angel Baby, and all my little drawing explorations of him. Well it’s time to give Little Devil his due. He *Still* doesn’t have a name so I’d love your suggestions.

It’s been so much fun to exercise my watercolor. I went for expression and speed on this one. Speed + watercolor don’t really mix as you’re waiting around for paint to draw quite often. However I tried to mix paint on the fly, not really think about color too much, and just go for i...

Day 12 - 30 Day Challenge: A New Challenger Appears!

Ok, two new challengers appear. But that’s not quite as catchy now is it?

Day 11- 30 Day Challenge: Express Yourself

Trying to work on doing better expressions for my figures. This was just a fun exploration of that and when I dress the face I was like, hey, he kinda looks like Kurt. So I made him into Kurt.

I’m very happy with how this turned out! I wanna start stylizing my faces and figures more. I used to do that with more confidence and I miss it.

Day 10 - 30 Day Challenge: What A Saga

This here fella is based on Marko from the comic book, Saga. It’s a bit naughty, but also tasteful, I’d say. I loved Saga so immediately (I’ve yet to catch up from ages ago) not only because of the endearing story but because of the characters. It was so lovely to see a leading man with Asian features.

I got to meet the artist of the series, Fiona Staples, at a con awhile back and gush about her work and the book and she was so appreciative and warm. I think I stopped reading the ...

Day 9 - 30 Day Challenge: Scuba Bishop

Doesn’t he look like a scuba diver here? That was not intentional...

Anyway! I’m working on Bishop and Jean concurrently and it’s been so much fun! Bishop has been easier tbh. Still have to fix some things on this look and render out the gun more, but I already teased the first two looks I have done for him so I thought I’d share the 3rd! I’ll try and do one or two more and then post him.

Day 8 - 30 Day Challenge: Such a Pretty Face

Started playing around with a watercolor brush pack I bought for Procreate. It’s been challenging! Digital watercolor brushes behave in very different ways from traditional, which duh, makes sense, but also means trying to master them will be quite difficult. I’d love for my digital work to emulate the way I use traditional watercolor more. This will take some time and practice and I tend to forget that because I like to just jump into something new, ready to achieve exactly what I wa...

Day 7 (Or Something) - 30 Day Challenge: New Dolls

Soooo sorry I’ve fallen off with my 30 Day Challenge! I will still hit 30 days, I promise. This will just be a small hiatus due to my horrendous ability to multitask. We are back on the horse!

I must admit, some days it’s very, very hard for me to focus and stay productive. It’s something I’m working on. Clearly we all have our missteps. Instead of a warm-up, or Procreate exploration, today you get part of a new paper doll! I think I’m going to close out the #PaperXmen soon. M...

Day 6 - 30 Day Challenge: WORK Work

Ok, so I am at my desk doing work for publication at the moment so I thought I’d use that for my daily post! I don’t want to say too much about this project but here’s a snippet into the painting process.

I’ve really enjoyed exploring digital work more, and it’s great for getting pieces to a state worth posting with great haste. Doing watercolors takes time and it means I can’t flood your notifications with posts on posts on posts as much as I’d like. That being said, gett...

Day 5 - 30 Day Challenge: Shulkie

Playing around with paint some more, no plans, just action. For about 75% of this paint sketch I absolutely hated it. My coach really encouraged me to get used to posting pieces I’m unhappy with. Thinks it would be a valuable practice for me to untether the process from the outcome. Just enjoy and paint and explore and learn. It’s been fun to just jump into a doodle or sketch and be more carefree. Sure it means I might hate what I’m producing but that’s ok too. We can’t love every s...
