I started this one out as a shape of gradiant washes and then sorted out what would fill in the shape after the fact. No plan, just went for it. I’m so envious of people who create truly fun and lively silhouettes to their drawings. I love when a figure is stylized into an unconventional shape. It’s something I’d like to push more in my own work.

Just a little sketch I’ve been working on while I warm-up for work or need a satisfying little distraction during the day. It’s fun to have something to intermittently attack so I stay at my desk and don’t go rummaging through the cupboard for snacks every 10 minutes. I find the new Wonder Woman to be soooo chic. Her costume is modern and young and sexy and fun. I'm not reading any Future State so I can't speak to her character but what a great example of freshening up a design while paying tribute to the roots. I'm so glad Yara is so popular.

Ok I know I know. Just another sketch. But I’ve been watching WandaVision and I knew I needed to a piece for it so I’ve started doing a little brainstorming. I think I’ll keep this black and white with maybe some ref accents for Wanda’s magic? Or should Vision be in partially in color except for his lower half which is morphing into a suit? Hm. Trimmed just the first minute so you don't have to sit there watching me stare at who knows what as I wait for people to come in. I was so nervous in the beginning! Sorry this has taken me so long to get to the sketch phase! It was very daunting cause I wanted to push myself with my angles and my color/lighting.
