Some comments got me thinking.
Have you ever come across a situation where you clicked 4 times and wondered why the fuck do you have do that if it could be done better.
Or asked yourself why is this data not shown here? Why do I have to click away?

Please list this kind of annoyances so I can make our life easier.

Should body modifications be tied to relationship or/and reputation?
For example, at the start you're not really an influential figure + your relationship with the girls is not really all that high. You can maybe convince them to change lipstick color or something mild but thats about it. As you progress you can unlock more options so they can end up like picture above.
Basically whole bimbofication process which is already possible, but now instead of going from first to last step,you'd have to raise relationship and depravity to go further.

Hi all.

Silently adding whatever you're posting in the comments or discord. Stuff pilled up. Lots of good suggestions and necessary fixes really.

Main goal in the near future is to populate the second part of the map and try to connect them to the main gameplay loop as much as possible.

So what are future plans?

Cave - Only made to move a certain easter egg there.

Cinema and Restaurant - For bringing your dates there. With chance to do some dirty things and increase depravity of those special girl who you don't want to whore out to the world.
Both also make sense to be buyable and transform them into adult cinema & hooters like place.

Docks - Only there coz it makes sense having one. Apart from having few random events I can't think of any other functionality. Maybe the only location for male MC to be able to recruit male actors so you at least have a reason for going there other than fishing for random events.

Police Station - Slowly but surely I'll move some existing events there. Also few new ones.
Also thinking of making police more aggressive so you'll have suck up to them. Everything costing money and/or girls. Parties for them, taking them on trips and similar shit.
Or you know, tell them to fuck off and face false accusations, your stars in jail and so on.
Probably some "police relationship" meter or something similar would make sense.
Also linking it to rivals and harassing them with police help.
In the future I might expand the story of our cop partners. Maybe even change it completely.
A lot can be done here honestly, probably one update can be entirely focused on this. We'll see.

Carwash - Already. Special char + buyable property.

Stables - I like chicks in horse riding uniforms so this locations was inevitable. Simple as. Cant go wrong with some special char cliche bitchy rich girl. Maybe make it buyable for some passive income and link it to the story char.
You may start asking questions, but let me just say no it wont be possible. We're keeping it vanilla here.

Airport - Of course mini management where you start your own airline. It wont be super deep tho, it's not an airline tycoon.
Mostly assigning your girls there to raise depravity and offer optional "special" services.
Maybe few things more but as said, theres not going to be full on micro. Otherwise it can be whole new game.

Military Base - I wanted military uniforms, made the whole base with training grounds and all that shit and then started thinking it really don't make sense for civilian to roam around there. Very stupid. I'll come up with something eventually lol.
Maybe some porny scenario where you get friendly with the main guy(or girl) and you two devise a plan to push recruits into porn to secure funding for the base.

So next dev will be out soon, like a week, then another one and I really hope end of may for stable version. I'll push it hard, since it's been a long time.

Anyways, new dev version in few moments. Mostly bugfixes and some balance changes. Tweaking numbers and similar stuff. Probably making everything harded coz I'm trying difficulty options.
Not worth it really if you played previous one.
Unless you really want new dirty talk system, which is now separated by scene category and optionally bound by depravity.
So chicks can scream different stuff based on how high their depravity is and what scene type they're shooting. All editable with in a .json file.

Progress Report

Hi all!

Working on skill based staff. Long overdue.

So each npc will spawn with some set of skills. Some with more than one. Each skill will correlate to the job.
You can already see this on the skills tab.

Each skill has a primary attribute attached to it, some also a secondary.
Attributes can improve the "effective skill level" or even worsen it.
For example, directing skill has primary attribute Charisma and secondary Sex skills.
Sorta like fallout, but not really.

Skill will increase while working, but you can also train it.
This also means you can now switch npc jobs around as you wish. You can put totally inexperienced guy as a director and he'll lvl up with time.

It's all pretty straightforward and it makes more sense as current system.
Do you want to see some additional mechanics?
I was thinking of adding one preferred job and one that they hate, for some happiness modifier.

Head, face, hair will have to stay the same as in base scenes and everywhere else.
We have 120 haircuts, 70 eyes, brows, noses and countless other parts. Drawing them from the front would take so much time it just doesn't make sense.
She'll look at you a little bit from the side lol, but ok. It's not that bad.
At least she finally looks at YOU and not in the camera like early 90s porn.

Sadly same thing applies for clothes. There is no way for drawing 100 outfits from 2 different perspectives.
So in time probably some basic lingerie, heels, ... Until then, all naked.

I can move the limbs to create slightly different animations but there's not a lot of room to twist the limbs until it starting to look weird. So there wont be tons of different positions.

Do you want male body to be seen or is dick enough?

Anyways, put in the comments what you want to see added.

The most observant will also notice one of the girls in the trailer has longer fingernails, which is also a new feature nobody requested. You can choose from short, medium and long + custom colors if you so wish.

Hi!

Long time no cosplay chars, so here's two new ones.

There's also two new special characters, one you've most likely seen by now, the tax inspector. Other is the owner of carwash.

That's it for now. 

We're running out of time, so I'm not going to push a lot of new things in the game anymore, otherwise I'll spend christmas fixing bugs.

Does that mean second map will remain empty? Not really, I'll put some random characters on some locations, but special girls will have to wait.

Next dev version is most likely going to be tomorrow, if everything goes wrong 100% on Monday.

Just some quick upcoming changes.

Only low level models will come to your run down house when picking them up. Upgrade your shack or rent a hotel room.

Remove some traits by sending models to therapy. Like depressed, bipolar and such.
You can only get rid of medically related traits for now. Will add some others later.

During casting interview, if you have capable right hand PA, you'll get a background check for the girl.
It's basically a big clue of what promise to make to boost your chances a lot. Make a wrong a one, like offering to pay tuition to a MILF or offering free drugs to a non addict and favor will drop.

Making a fortune from camshows will be a little harder. You'll need dedicated camgirls, marketing and right PA policies.

Mods are coming back. Tried few old ones and are (so far) working fine.

Of course plenty of bugfixes and making game more stable and balanced.

tl:dr, dev version today, mostly bugfixes, dont pay for this one if you played dev4, wait for next one.

I'll be going full speed ahead and whatever I have on Christmas i'll release it as stable version.  Till then there's few dev versions, most likely each week like we did now.

Week was mostly spend on fixing bugs and adding some minor things, like strippers appearing again in the night club,  failsafes introduced in manual production and so on.

I've tried to fix all the crashes, but like always some might still linger around.

Most of you have seen the carwash. You can assign girls there to raise depravity and make some small amounts of money. This is actually "end game" content for this place.

In the stable version carwash will be tied to a new character storyline. You'll stumble upon the struggling business and help them from closing down. Pretty obvious how...

Model agencies were rarely used so i've decided to merge them together into one. Number and quality of girls will depend on your reputation level.
These are established pornstars who are willing to shoot most things. So they'll be useful, especially at the start.
To not be so bland and strictly mechanical, i'll most likely introduce a new special character acting as a boss which you'll interact with on every step.

Hi all.

Few changes and new stuff.

Taxes can be decreased with recruiting financial PA and completing Ann and Delia story. Their stories were changed a bit to reflect that.
Further decrease will be possible once I complete the tax inspector story.
There's also starting perk that decreases them a bit so in the end you can go as low as 1%.

Invite girls to live in the mansion. GFs will NOT automatically spawn there anymore, you have to talk to them and invite them to live there. (Right click, call to office and pick the option)
Bigger the mansion more girls you can invite, obviously.
As suggested, girls living there will not drop relationship.
Will open up drama, jealousy, envy events in the mansion in the future versions.

New attribute for girls, Depravity.

It ranges from 0-100. Higher it is more scenes they're willing to do.
It's to keep how much they like the scene and how much they're willing to do separated.

It's increased automatically when shooting scenes or being assigned to certain locations.

Example:
Some Virgin will spawn with Depravity 0. Can't do shit apart from marry her and have children lol.
If you want porn career from her, well, she will not do anything but be assigned to the photo studio.
After being assigned there for a while she'll get more comfortable and you can move her to camshows, strip club and so on.
Depravity will increase with each day until she can be cast in Solo and Lesbian scenes.
I choose depravity of 50, when models are willing to do hardcore scenes.
And finally the last milestone at 85, when she'll go for gangbangs.

It sorta reflects how most IRL porn careers are. You start with doing ahegao faces and end up with double anal.

Now many of you don't have the patience of "training" these models for so long, so if you have money you can cash out and offer a severely overpaid contract to skip few steps.
Still thinking if it should be possible to go from 0 to 100 with just money. Probably not, but increase of around 50 should be reasonable.

If you're poor and without patience theres always drugs... Mix of alcohol and heroin does the trick. Certainly without consequences.

Up to here it's implemented in dev4.

So what if I have no patience, money and don't want to use drugs?
I'm thinking more wholesome way of increasing depravity would be taking them on dates and fucking them in cinema and public beaches.

Just some upcoming changes.

Mansion will now serve as a place for parties.
Pool and beach are part of the mansion upgrades so they're now locations you can visit during the party.
If you don't have them, too bad, less models will come.

Parties will also be the only opportunity of you meeting with the rival girls. They have higher chance to spawn if your reputation is high.

Yacht is still its own place for parties.

WARNING THOUGH!
It's really finicky and I should have not released it to public, but hey...
If you want a more smooth experience wait a week for dev2.

I'm rushing this shit so a lot of things are disabled and others may or may not work.

Refactoring this spaghetti code is proving to be quite a task. It took a lot of time to bring the game into playable state cause it was literally deconstructed to the core.
I'm mostly done, but there are still few minor sections that could be redone. Which means that savegames in DEV updates will probably be broken, so don't start some serious playthrough.

That's that. Just a warning so you don't expect some smooth ride.
I advise you to wait for dev2 or dev3. They'll be releasing faster than normal dev2 next week, dev3 week after.

tldr: Going slow, you will not be charged this month.

That's pretty much all i have to say. Had some family crisis and couldn't concentrate on work. It really wasn't my summer.

Doesn't mean I didn't do anything at all, just that progress was slow with numerous days off, so it's only fair to pause the payments for this month. I've tried to release something but I don't feel it's ready.

Not breaking the saves ever again was a pretty bold statement from me lol, so now i have to deal with it. This further delays stuff.

Also don't want to make every modded char obsolete.

Anyway, what I've been working on...

So I've removed camgirl, photomodel and stripper traits. It was getting to convoluted.

Now every girl can be assigned everywhere.

Although, if you bring up a photomodel to some decent fame without doing porn, the demand for it will be through the roof. You can capitalize on this.

When recruiting new models not all will be willing to do porn straight away. You will have to "corrupt" them a bit. First have them do some photo modeling, then maybe camshows/stripping and after a while try to bring them to hardcore porn. Or pay obscene amount of money and skip some steps. Some will be tougher(impossible) to persuade then others.

Same mechanics with the interview process. Pretty much everyone will take some photos, it's up to you if you want to push them further. This is to avoid pointless reloading when failing interview process.

Rivals have have reputation now and you also have means of lowering it.
This will make rival girls recruitment easier since they'll be unhappy with their employer.
But they wont come to you either if you don't keep up with yours.

Some new properties you can buy and make passive money with help of your new financial advisor PA.

I'm probably merging lawyer and financial advisor into 1 role. She's only useful for 1 event others are more on the financial side.

I've started testing this recently and I may or may not drop the whole Trends thing.
There are too many tags and categories at the moment and i doubt anyone is keeping track of them.

The alternative would be analytics PA as we know it but instead of showing 50 progress bars, she'd notify you what is trending this month.
Higher her level more trends will be revealed, but only like a few maximum. Earnings would be really amplified tho which might open new starting strategies like rushing to get analytics PA and only shoot whats popular or choosing a starting perk that let you see some of them.

Next thing was suggested in the comments and I just had to make it coz it's a great idea.
There's a whole fan demand subsystem now which PA can make use of now.
For example, fans are thirsty for Jane Doe gangbang scene. They want hardcore scene from some camgirl and so on.
Now if you drop the video at the right moment when the stuff is also trending, you have a hit.

This should be put in long ago but was impossible without breaking everything.

You can make full feature movies.
Standard stuff, assign actors, you can pair them up, choose a theme and go shooting.
It takes longer but the money will be better obviously.

Talent search is now limited and you can only find raw talent.

Reason for this is coz i want to make top level stars extremely rare and extremely valuable.
Earnings curve (in testing now) is pretty exponential. So lvl 10 girl will bring you WAY more money and fans then lvl 8.

You cant find lvl 10 models on the streets.
Either train them yourself, steal them from your rivals or throw lavish parties to attract them.
I really want to make so you have to focus on one path. How? I don't know yet lol. You can't be great at everything.

One idea is merging managers and their perks with PAs. Most of the perks can fit with the existing PAs. Less confusion but the mechanics stays the same.
So with the help of right PAs you can specialize in certain thing pretty quick into the game.

Most locations on existing map offer some functionality, but on the new one not so much. Mostly just an excuse to include new outfits lol. Some properties will be buyable.

Airport - Stewardesses, private jets... (btw managing your own airline was one of the ideas for a standalone game, maybe one day...)

Military Base - Hot soldiers all around

Docks - You just need this location if your city is on the seashore.

Cinema, restaurant - Buyable properties, date locations and such 

Stables - Just so i can include jodhpurs(that hot horse riding outfit).  
You may be asking yourself some questions regarding horses, but no, you wont be able to.

No backgrounds yet for these places to show off but it's coming soon.

Also library is transformed into university which consist of multiple locations.

Mansion

Start with a shack, end with a mansion.

You'll be upgrading your personal home and with it increasing reputation.

More reputation, higher level girls will be joining.

 That's all regarding new places.

I'll go into gameplay changes next time. It won't be as drastic that you'd have to relearn everything all over.

I'm pausing the payments on July 1st.

Reason being that my electricity provider were doing some renovations, fucked up and when shit got turned on it burned every single device i own.
So now, on my old laptop last breath (which funny enough is also without a working charger) i'm typing this post.
Now i'll have to go outside, roam around in this heatwave, deal with insurance agents, buying new shit and whatnot. Disgusting.

I do regular backups (like everyone should) so it's like 2,3 days of work lost. Nothing major. Still i could do daily backups, but you know... Nothing can happen to me until it does.

This is a pretty small update, mostly preparing for v0.8.
Old saves are still compatible but let me remind you that from now on they won't be.

I'm spending way too much time doing workarounds and hacks plus I can't implement some things properly. So it's going to be a fresh start.

For this update you have 60+ underwear, publishing expanded, std rework, marketing rework (in limited capacity coz before mentioned compatibility issues), adding some QOL stuff and fixing bugs.

I know about some issues regarding pregnancies but it will have to wait.

Hi all.

Last dev version coming today, next saturday the stable version.

Some balance changes and fixing the bugs apart from one big change.

The big change being marketing. It was never quite finished and now it's the best time to do it.

Giving each marketer a job and a budget, allowing you to assign them to work on a specific website, model, camshows, all the tags...
Higher their level, less budget they need to keep the score high.

Gives you all the control on what tags to advertise.
Like pushing only MILFs with big tits and a website dedicated to them.

I'm also going to buff the marketing score which contributes to the final scene popularity.
We all know from real life that even a shit product can get popular if you put enough money into marketing. If you market low quality scenes maybe profit will be big but you'll lose some reputation.

Also with models. You can assign a marketer to their "social media" and you'll get more fame out of posts. But at some point it will slow down and get more expensive coz you can only achieve so much with money and social media.

More studio sets to choose from so I had to add new themes to the game, namely Spa and Luxury. You can shoot porn in jacuzzi, pool and yachts if you own those things.
Beauty center is now a buyable property and will allow you free appearance changing for your models. The special chars story never reflect on any of that but we'll modify that, no worries. (if anyone even cares)

The studio shootings are designed that you create a studio and assign a crew to it.
It would be better if you could create a crew and assign a shooting place to them.
I can't change that now so you'll have to ignore the fact that if you want to shoot on a yacht or pool you still need to buy a studio, even when in reality you wouldn't need one. It is what it is.

I tried to finish the skills system but it would break the save games and didn't want to spend time on hacky workarounds so we'll have to wait till v0.8 which is next in line.

Don't forget, versions v0.8x will NOT work with old saves. Nothing you should be concerned right now, but just a reminder.

staff traits

Hi all!

Even more micro? Why yes, we all want it.

All the staff members are pretty much the same apart from their level.
I'm going to add staff specific traits which will offer small bonuses here and there.

I'm starting with directors since they're the most important crew members.
I might not even do special traits for other jobs since i don't have any good ideas what to give to a guy holding a light or a helper. There's not much room there.

Anyways, some directors will have special traits now.

They'll get [scene category] specialist automatically based on what scenes they shoot. Trait gained with experience. This will boost quality of scenes in that category (solo, ff, mf, ...).

Other traits I have till now:

Erotic Master, Increased Chemistry score

Authoritative, Models won't cause troubles during shooting, eliminating the need for security guard. (Some new events in that are in development. Models causing scenes and all that.)

Positive, Fellow crew members get a small Happiness boost.

Photography, Even with the worst equipment scene looks pro made. Boosts Equipment score.

Meticulous, Finds and exposes the best traits in models. Small Fame boost for female models

Industry Legend, Scenes get a small Popularity boost. Only possible if he/she was a famous pornstar and promoted to a director.

Bonuses won't be game changing so don't sweat if you can't find one with traits. Nice to have them for minmax studios and such.
Probably also for hard mode I'm planning to do somewhere in the future.

Do you have an idea for any other traits? Feel free to suggest them.

pa publishing

Hi all.

Based on feedback I'm making publishing PA more useful.

New options on the right where you can set publishing priority.

PA will go down priority list and try to publish the scene on the website.

Then we have per website settings

On the right you can set which scene categories can be published on the site.
Let's say you want to keep FFF scenes for some other website or add revenue, you can exclude it.

On the left there's an option to post after goals were already made. This was already in but only as a global setting. Now you can set it per website. 

Then we have tolerance slider. This is to prevent posting very high or very low quality scenes and fucking up the average. You can of course set it to 100% tolerance which means everything will be posted.

The last is slider to maintain model variety. To prevent publishing scenes with the same model. This is ignored on personal websites.

If you feel there's more that can be added to these options now it's a good time to say it.

tldr, dev2 release today.

So as mentioned before, underwear is coming is in this dev version.
Stockings will have to wait for v0.8 so I won't have to deal with compatibility issues.

Also made it so strip club is open from the very start and it's a place to pick up low level whores. Dance floor is closed.

After you buy the club everything will open up and you can assign strippers there. Do you  want to deal with club micro management? Feels like there has to be a point where we stop otherwise it will be too much of everything.

Random thoughts

So tell me what I've been wondering for some time now. How much more micromanagement do you want to see? Full on club control? Sex shops? Private airline?
I still want the game to revolve around porn shooting and feel like focus will be lost if I start making some complex mechanics for other places.

Like club for example. You could manage security, bartenders, singers, dancers, strippers, escorts, market the place, inventory, deal with events happening there... BUT
Would be better to copypaste the game, remove porn production and have you deal with just that? Or do you want to go to the bank on day 1, take a loan, buy a club and never even touch porn production for the rest of the game?

Maybe a question for a poll.

Hi all.

Underwear/lingerie is now on it's own layer and can be changed independent from outfit

There will also be 10+ new designs.
Some outfits expose a lot of underwear which may be something you like or not.

My first thought making this change was, yea a day or two max, but as all things gamedev spent ten times as much time on it. Hope you'll like it.
It may still happen that correct tits won't be shown when removing the bra or some really old modded girls not working properly but we'll sort that out.

STD Changes

So many complaints about this so I just had to change it.
In general, higher your epidemic threat, higher the chance of spreading diseases.

To keep the threat down test the girls regularly and have a medical advisor.

At the start you can do without both or just have monthly checkups, but as you shoot more and more movies you'll have to adjust properly.

Should be pretty easy and straightforward. Only if you're really neglecting this aspect of the game you'll get sick models which as you know isn't a cheap thing to fix.

Dev version will be out in like a week or so. Stable will come May.
I'm planning to add some more cosplay chars and few casual outfits. Also expanding what can you do with rivals, fixing age old bugs and so on.

Bought a subscription to an audio site which have every sound effect on the planet. So some improvements on this part. Some UI sounds wouldn't hurt, squeaking of the beds and other things. I'll see what I can find. Have any ideas?

If time allows it i'll also add color variation for all male outfits.

Hi all.

More modding stuff.

New keyword that will let you check the triggers in conversation itself and then jump to an appropriate line.

I've named it "branch". Maybe not the best but eh. If you have a suggestion please put it in the comments.

As explained in previous post, you can create custom triggers and set them to true in whatever conversation you want.

The "branch" keyword will check these triggers and jump to the line you specified. 

The example above is from a modded third girl.

Inside the branch keyword you put integers which they serve as priority checks.
0:[...],
1:[...],
2:[...],
Lower the value, higher the priority.

In our case 0 key will be checked first and if it fails it will continue till the end.

Inside each priority key there's an array of triggers you want it to be checked and in the end a line number the conversation will jump to.
0:["mandy_introduction", "jane_introduction", 2]
So in our example it will check 2 triggers, mandy_intro and jane_intro. If they're both set to true the conversation will jump to line 2.

Let's say we didn't find Jane yet and so the "jane_introduction" trigger is still false.
Above check fails and go to the next one.
1:[ "jane_introduction", 3]
Well, we didn't met Jane yet, so this check also fails. To the next one.
2:["mandy_introduction",  4]
This one is true and the conversation will jump to line 4.


If all triggers are false, "branch" is ignored and we continue the conversation with "jump":5

Expanding the modding capabilities at the moment.

But why?

Cause people will be able to make great content for the game and everyone will benefit.

What's new?

New custom triggers you just have write in the text box and separate them by comma(,)

Modded characters will not spawn unless you meet the criteria.

Hardcoded:

reputation_level=1 #[1-5]

money=1000 #[0-]

fitness=50 #[0-100]

charisma=50 #[0-100]

beauty=50 #[0-100]

intellect=50 #[0-100]

sex_skills=50 #[0-100]

Pretty self-explanatory.
 

Also possibility of creating your own custom triggers which can be set in other modded characters conversation.

Some examples of what you will be able to make.
Let's have test girls Jane and Mandy.

-Mandy will not appear until you introduce yourself to Jane.

-You cannot progress with Mandy unless you fucked Jane.

-You cannot progress at all if you picked a wrong option.

You make up few triggers (name doesnt matter, just remember them)

We'll go with "jane_introduction" and "fucked_jane"

When creating your characters with modding tools you can write those triggers.

This is Mandy's spawn schedule

As you see for the first step you'll need intellect 50.
For second step you need intellect 60 AND having custom trigger "jane_introduction" set to true.

But where do we set jane_introduction to true?

In Jane' conversation of course.

New command here is "custom_triggers":{}

You can have multiple ones per line, we'll just use one.
So after saying goodbye, you set jane_introduction to true and this is saved globally.

If you now go back and try to find Mandy, she'll spawn.
After you have your way with Mandy you can set new trigger

"fucked_mandy" can be used as a Jane spawn trigger or for some completely different character.

There is no limit! You can create as many triggers as you want and interconnect with as many characters as you want.
You just need to be careful when designing stories to not lock yourself out. (like having 2 characters who both need introduction triggers from each other.)

You can make it as convoluted as possible. Let's say you only 1 out of 5 presented choices will set some trigger to true...

But there's more...

You can create a second character for the conversation.

I want to eventually do more than 2 chars per convo, but code isn't ready. Have to rewrite a lot of stuff for that to work. Soon, like always.

Anyway,

new "meta":{} key with a bunch of options.
In each step of the conversation you can include "meta" key which will change some things about that character and spawn new ones.

"outfit" and "outfit_variation" will of course change outfits (i'll provide the codes)
"additional_characters" will spawn new chars to the convo.
In above case, a level 9-10 Milf, dressed in outfit 14, variation 1

You can see "existing_character is an empty string "". This means it will create completely new character.

If you want one of your characters:

This will spawn another modded character, jane in above case. You don't need "level" or "characteristics" since her stats and appearance are already set.
Both are dressed in outfit 18, var 1.

You can later use the spawned character in a threesome, I mean that's the whole point of this thing.

If you use FFFM, a new random girl will spawn cause as i mentioned before, no support yet for more then 2 chars in the convo.

Just need some testing and i'll drop a new dev version with all this stuff in it. Few days...

Hi all.

Stable coming soon. One more dev version since I've added some new stuff.
I'm gonna stop now and just test, fix, balance and polish it it a bit.

You can manipulate taxes now. It depends on your intellect on how much you can avoid paying. We need to make use of these attributes a bit.
In the stable version there will also be characters (existing and new) who could help you  lower the tax rates even more.
Lower it too much and you'll get a visit.

Few QOL additions and bugfixes since last time.

There's also a dungeon bg now.


I'd say stable should be ready on the next weekend.

Progress Report

Hi all.

tldr: dev today, stable in 2 weeks.

I'm spending a lot of time with old savegames compatibility. A lot of bugs also arise from using old saves. Prepare for a restart for the v0.8 update! After that you're safe for a long time if not forever.

Upcoming poll
Need some new cosplay characters. I'm thinking X-men(more like x-women).
Some fine characters there. If you think x-men are meh and want to push your favorite franchise drop a comment and if it gets enough likes, I'll reconsider.  

What's in?

Special chars

You better know who those two are. Travesty they weren't in from the start.

Retirement

Rewritten. No more fixed date on which they'll retire. Trying to do a more "realistic" system.
Now the progress bar rises each day and the amount depends on different factors.
If they're happy, rich, famous, regularly cast in scenes and so on, the timer will progress slower.

Some math. Skip if you don't care.
Final value is 1000, base daily gain is +5. So it's around 200 days to reach the retirement.
Full happiness + full fame can get the number down to +1/day, so 1000 days. More than enough.
If you don't include her in the scenes, number can ruse pretty quickly. I think this is ok, since if you're not using the the model then you probably don't need her.
Some events will straight up deduct a number from final value. So can prolong the career just by being cool.

Thinking of including even more factors to influence the process.

Relationships

Not in its final form but it's a start. You can call anyone to your office by right clicking their name and then picking from list of actions(in dev version stick to calling women).
Just your typical dating sim stuff. Gift, talk, drink, date and so on...
New options will unlock as you progress and eventually you can end up as BF/GF. Nothing is changed there, some bonuses, full chemistry and so on.

Game is not and never will be a "real" dating sim, but we can start slowly expanding on this.
Like trait related actions for example.
Or jealousy. Although here we have to be careful. Nothing could make you happier than few jealous chicks crashing your empire.

Corruption

So many request for this for what seems like years now. Well, here you go. A rather disappointing and basic system to transform your favorite makeup artist into a pstar. Raise the relationship high enough, ask them to try out a photoshoot and make bolder requests as you progress. Don't expect too much, it's more of a mechanic than some grandiose 200 page story of corruption. Also every girl will do it for now. I might restrict some based on their traits and so on.

Or fetish things in general.  I still don't have a sex dungeon background but it's coming soon. Until then beautiful heavily filtered stock photo lol.

I've added a lot of items in the game. Whips, candles, paddles, chains, ...  Many of them unusable cause Godot physics don't want to cooperate and it's making me fucking rage. I've spent a lot of time making chains, ropes and whips for them to not work when instanced in the scene. It will not be in vain. I'll make them work if it's the last thing I do.

You can toggle blindfolds and gags during the scene. There are new BDSM related outfits and a shibari one.

There's also some pegging and golden shower animations.

Also completely flat breasts. I know someone is lobbying for that for some time now.

Some UI changes

I've been exposing some data to make things more clearer.
Like with amateur shooting you can see chemistry scores, addiction penalties and so on.
A lot of times you wondered from where this stupid happiness penalties are coming from. Well now you'll know.

I've also exposed stat checks in conversations, RPG style. I personally don't like it, but it's sort of a norm in games with skill checks.

Drugs

If a model is addicted and you don't have the substance in your stash when shooting with them, it's a happiness penalty.

Mechanic for daily auto taking drugs from your stash is disabled. Only exception are models you promised free drugs during casting interview. If they don't get it there's going to be some bad events and reputation hits.

Do use them yourself (in game) to boost happiness. The most useless drugs are probably the best.

Special p...stars (can't use the word or we're flagged by trust and safety team)

I've made few p...stars for rivals. Some with new, some with old assets. While they don't have any special lines, I'm thinking of making them. Just to add more flavor and make them more unique. They'll also poses good traits and high fame so they're worth snatching.

Probably forgetting something, but that's how it is in this chaos.
