There's one new thing: At the start there's a new difficulty option, contract limit. You can set how many models can you have on contract (20, 100, unlimited) 

I've also made a more robust system so rivals wont steal the girls at every opportunity.
They'll kindly wait 14 days after you first meet the model. So be done with casting and contracts within this period.
They'll also wait 14 days after the lawyer terminate a contract with the rival model. While the same company never signed them, others jumped right in.

I think that covers most of the cases. If i missed one, please remind me.

FFF with our special cops now also works.

DEV version later today. Only bugfixes and a new way to filter girls by traits. Where you filter names you can put "!" in front and it will search by trait.
For example, writing !adv will show all adventurous girls, !ny all nymphs and so on...
Any other search commands that would be useful?

Mods

Since you don't always want to write stories for every char you make, you can now put just the character file into /mods/ directory and she'll spawn as part of the rival models team. 

Parties

If your reputation is high enough there's a chance rival models will now attend your parties. Higher the reputation, higher the chance.
You don't have to wait for the expo anymore.

Some new tattoos and beards for males. You can now look like a hipster bartender.

I'm still looking for some simple wordpress plugins to integrate into the website so people could share their characters. Until I find something useful, you can download some characters from the discord.

Hi all.

Before anything else, new dev version now, next one in 2 weeks, stable end of October.

I've decided to transform the starting perks into backgrounds.  
Rather experimental for now, but idea is that it would change the way you approach the playthrough. Each of the backgrounds would give you benefits but also limit some things.  There are 3 for now:
-Corporate, starting bonus, getting more money, more contracts and so on.
-Low-life, drugs, whores and all that.
-Harem Master, better chances to persuade models to shoot for you and so on.  

Keep in mind that bonuses are not final. Need to find the right balance so it won't be too restrictive.  

You can assign girls to the night club now.
For this I've created a new perk Stripper. Works the same as camgirl and photomodels.
Only models with that perk are able to work in the nightclub.  
There's no deep management aspect of night club. Yet. We'll see if it's necessary.  
Better the girls, more money you get. Simple as that.   

Some new events. Church got 2 new.

Talent scouts changed. Now you'll get "days to find" instead of percentage chance. Better scout, less days it take to find new talent.
For this dev version you can have unlimited number of them. Probably won't be like that in stable.

Plus a lot of minor things all around. You can change number notation to letter (S,A,B,...) and use words to describe attribute values.
Also (finallly) found and fixed bugs for crashes for female mc and camgirls. Some minor ones too.

Since 1 ingame year is a lot of time I've made 3 different award ceremonies so you won't have to wait that long.
In the end it turned out it's much harder to pick the right candidates. Also haven't decide yet what the reward for winner will be, apart from obvious fame boost.
For now candidates are picked but there's no award ceremony of sorts.

I've said female MC will get some love, so there's going 2 new special characters. I have the texts, just need the art and test everything out.

In progress. They'll be done for stable version.

If not anything else, there will at least be some new outfits with the theme.

v0.796 Changelog + What's next

Hi all.

Still waiting for art so we're gonna do v0.797. I hope the last one before i can start working on the mansion.

So 0.797 would be:
-Mostly refining rivals, their mechanics, more events, some sort of video awards and so on.
-Some love for female main char. A male special char wouldn't hurt.
-Start including BDSM content.
-Random events in locations which have none.
-Special char or 2.
-Streamlining agencies & talent search. Make them work by the same rules, expanding the search conditions and so on.

Other than that it's pretty flexible. I have a lot of suggestions noted down so i'll just go down the list.
If you feel something important is missing just write to me. Even if you already did, sometimes I have to be told twice. List of suggestions is very long and I can easily miss it.

Hi all.

Expanding our squad of cosplayers. There's 1 more but I'm gonna leave it as a surprise.

Let's get the important stuff down first. One final dev version next week, then stable version very soon after.

Achievements are now in the game. Few standard "fuck x girls" or some short term goals.  Since the tutorial is pretty shitty, there are also some that serve as a memo for new players of what's actually in the game.
Also few hidden, harder to figure out and get. But also more fun.

Rival company mechanics will be in but with limited functionality. It's too much to handle.
What you will be able to do?
-Convince their models to work for you .
-Flood the market with (high quality) videos to push them out their niche and eventually bankrupt them.
-Buy smaller websites to increase you market share in certain category and hurt them that way.
There are also random events for rivals so they don't feel dead.

Progress Report

Hi all.

As you can see in the pic new outfits are coming. 15 of them. Wedding dresses, goth outfits and few skimpy outfits. Perfect dress code for your staff.

Main feature for this version are rival companies.

There are 6 big companies and a lot of randomly generated small companies which are just one website. Everyone is competing for the same fans so they all have market share %.

You can increase yours by posting high popularity scenes or by just buying out those smaller websites.

If they see you as a threat, big companies will buy the smaller websites themselves.

If you convince their stars to join you, their market share will drop a bit.

AI will snatch high potential freelancers right away. They'll also sign famous high lvl models.
So keep in mind to put on contract those you want to keep.

Coz i've made it more complex than it should be, I just couldn't manage to pack together everything into a working state.
A lot of factors are contributing to market share % plus there are a lot of edge cases which are leading to total chaos in a few weeks of simulation.  So for dev version most of them are simply disabled. You'll be glad, otherwise there are just constant crashes and weird bugs. Old saves compatibility don't really help. I've been thinking of breaking them but I'll wait till v0.8.

*AI will still try to steal your models and act stupid, so I'd suggest you don't even try any legit playthroughs. 

Parties

There are more options to pick when throwing parties. You can select a desired region and some characteristics.

Hotel Conventions

Working on having different conventions each weekend.

For now only the already known comic-con and a new goth-con will take place every other weekend. In future I'll add more thematic cons.

On 5th weekend, on months that have the 5th weekend of course, the adult expo will take place. There you'll be able to talk to stars of rival companies and try to persuade them to join you.

Different dick sizes & shapes

5 types are in, more will be added soon. Animations weren't adjusted yet so with the biggest one you'll just pierce through girls. Try to avoid picking that one. 

Trans girls

In the dev version it's possible to move a slider around and set the trans girl spawning %. There is no content around that, there's no new tags or gameplay changes.
Everything looks the same, girls spawning will just have dicks and that's it. Only works if you pick them up around the city. Also haven't tested what happens if you recruit them. Keep in mind this feature is very experimental. Backup your saves before touching the slider coz I have no idea what will happen with your current models. Probably nothing but we don't want any surprises.

Not ready yet but I'm also working on redesigning talent search / agencies a bit. I'll merge those two to use the same mechanics. Instead of 1 talent search PA you'll have multiple of them scouting around the globe for new talent. If you don't have your own scouts, you'll pay 3rd party(agencies) to look for you.

Dev version

When? In few hours. Exporting at the moment.
In a week there'll be another dev version where most of rival mechanics will be enabled and hopefully working.

Hi all.

New bodies with outfits that now mostly fit. Some of the outfits for biggest bodies still have problems and like said before, they'll have to be redrawn.
Not everything can be done with resizing. Although with the latest game engine update there's some new stuff that might help. Didn't want to update 2 days before release tho.
Anyway until then, try to look past that.

There's few more things.
Reputation levels. You start with lvl 0 and can go up to lvl 4.
With each level new stuff unlocks.
At 0 you can only shoot with prostitutes, but it soon opens up. With some other balance changes it might be harder to play now.

Scenes you shoot at home are tagged Amateur and make less money than scenes shot in studio.

Also some new locations, special girls and QOL improvements.

The ground is also set for rival companies for the next update. Some simple AI companies to spice things up.

Hi all.

So scaling is done for male and female outfits. Some parts fit better than other. Few of them will have to be redrawn at some point, coz scaling distort the hell out of them.

It will never be perfect tho. As long as they're perfect naked, that's all that matters...

Anyway few more gameplay changes:

Reputation
Changed into 4 levels. Various game mechanics will gradually unlock as you increase your reputation levels.

On level 0 you can only shoot home vids and pick up hookers.
On level 1 you can open a company, work contracts will be unlocked and so on
Level 2 you can start putting models on contract, open network, ...

You get the point.

There are 4 levels for now, but i can easily expand it to more.

Why?
It's easier for new players to get into and not get overwhelmed right from the beginning.
Easier to introduce what's new to older players. Nobody reads changelogs. Or these posts.
You'll also get some sense of progression. 

Few new locations

Beauty salon converted into some sort of wellness center which includes salon, sauna, jacuzzi & massage. Best way to increase your happiness.

Yoga center. No real function. There's only one reason why I include it...

2 new special characters (Just 1 convo step in DEV version)

Top 3 chars in FF character poll were Tifa(obviously), Aerith & Lulu. I'm going to also include the 4th (Yuna) just because. Coz we can. They're in the works and probably won't be finished in the next update. Those 3000 belts and zippers take a long time to draw.

Progress Report

Hi all.

Still resizing the outfits. Some pieces will just have to be redrawn coz scaling them is just impossible. Too distorted or just don't scale as it supposed to.
Front and back female side almost complete. Few small pieces still need attention but the major parts are done.

Otherwise fixing bugs, including some of the minor which I avoided in the past cause they take too much time.

Was also in the making of a new intro as you can see. Not perfect, but better then before.

New poll is coming later. It's voting for which final fantasy characters are going to be put in. FF is hot right now, so why not.

I'll release the dev version with these changes tomorrow.

What's next?

Hi all.

As per pool results I'm going to start resizing the clothes so they'll fit the bodies.
It may take some time and some pieces will just have to be redrawn.
I'll do the front side ladies first, then back side and finally the guys.
Cause it's a cumbersome process, I'll polish the existing game mechanics when I'm fed up doing this.
I'll be also adding more events and unique girls.

It's going to be some sort of intermediate update ( v0.795) before we move on to v0.8.

Dev version will be released today. Not much new, there's some pieces of cloth which fit on all bodies and the usual dev panel.

Main menu rework

I was just looking at our first screen / main menu and thought, man does this look shitty.

It's the first thing players see and I have black screen with "logo" thrown together in GIMP in a few minutes. One of the worst intro screen in gaming. Why didn't you say anything?

Anyway, the point is, if you have more design sense than me and have an idea how players should be greeted when they open the game, please do share it with me. Comments, private msg, mail, wherever you can find me.

I'm just devoid of any ideas, so i have to turn to you. It's not a contest or anything, I'll just steal your suggestions like I always do lol.

It's a very low priority issue coz you're not on the intro screen a lot, but man it should look better.

Yacht is finally in the game after years of being there as an icon. Time for boat parties. I'll add other events as we go on.

BTW, look at the smirk on the right girl. I've added some new mouths and this particular one was meant for a special character. It does fit on everyone, although it leaves them with that smug look. I'm not even fixing it, just gonna leave as is.

Reputation play much bigger role now.
It affects the chance of casting interviews, marketing scores, points for agency models, number of work contracts and more.

You can raise it by being a "good" boss, bailing out your stars, paying for staff vacation and whatnot. There's also (expensive) marketing campaigns, but you already knew that.
High staff happiness, low std epidemic threat and completing work contracts also nets you some reputation.

It will only get more important as we go on. When rival companies are implemented, you better keep the rep high.

Photo studio is completed. I did advertise it as a passive income building, but after testing it just doesn't work well. It's great for camshows, but not this. I don't know, you'll tell me when you get the chance to play it.

So I've made that you can assign ONLY contracted photomodels. You can then start completing the work contracts, which now spawn more often.
I've buffed photoshoot contracts so they give a lot more money and reputation.
You could potentially play through without shooting porn, just having a photo studio.
I'll add more functionality when i figure out what.

This next thing is just a taste of things to come. I've been "pressured" to add girlfriends back.
Why did I do this now you may ask?
Players wanted to fuck staff members for a long time, I just didn't want to make it free use. So now you can.
It wasn't possible to fuck camgirls and photomodels. Now there is.
Also for roleplaying purposes coz some like to pimp their girlfriends.

Right click on the girl, call her to the office, got through date (which is one click) and you're together. It's that easy. 

I'll make something more complete when we get there (v0.8). Relationships, jealousy, dates and all that. Currently there's no downside, no bonuses, nothing special.

You can have your charisma/20 GFs. So 5 at max charisma.
You can now ONLY fuck staff who you're in a relationship with.

Hi all.

Country is in lockdown, toilet paper is stocked and senior citizens are getting pretty aggressive if you walk past them in the store. Interesting time we live in.

I'll hurry with the release. I'll try DEV today or tomorrow and stable soon after. Every day for the last few days I find something I need to fix (or finish) and have to delay the game.

Progress report

Hi all.

I underwent surgery on my sinuses this week and things got a little complicated so i had to stay at the hospital for a few days. While everything turned out cool, yesterday was already working normal, today I got high fever and I started to cough. They informed me not to panic yet coz it might be related to healing (fever that is, no mention for coughing tho heh).
I have to wait till tomorrow to see what happens, then go test for corona virus.

Just so you know, worst case scenario, if there's no answer from me I might be stuck there. More likely stuck at home, being at the hospital is for the worst patients.

I'm close to releasing dev3 and at the end of the month a stable version. 

Some new events are coming across the city. Let's say random encounters.
I'm also working on existing systems (like camgirls and managers) that need attention.
Balancing is a tedious work, but I have to do it coz i haven't come around for some time.

I've also fixed some modding bugs, so now it should work better.

I'll try to make the next release as bug free as possible. That's the top priority right now.

If health let me I'll add some new locations coz I finally have the backgrounds.
Yacht being the first, finally. You've been buying it since the very first version and enjoy that +10 charisma, but now you will be able to actually go there.

Do you use starting perks?

Hi all.

Quick survey coz I'm not google and can't track what you do in game.

The idea behind starting perks is to change the way you play. Now they don't really change the gameplay that much. There are some good and bad stuff they bring but in the long run it's not that different.

In the future dev builds I might test some stuff and group some perks together to create RPG like classes that would have bigger effect on how to progress through game.

For example some business oriented class where you have better agency models, better work contracts, more money and all that comes with it, but you wont be able pick the girls from the streets, wont be able to shoot with low level girls and so on.

Or some kind of low-life class where you'd thrive with hookers and drugs, but couldn't create a network, get no work contracts, capped reputation and so on.

Basically effects from existing perks merged together to make more restrictive paths.
Maybe it will be fun, maybe it wont, I don't know. We'll have to test it and see.

Magic and stuff

The magic trio.

It would be a crime to not include all 3.
Along with a new minigame, dice poker. I know you all love minigames.

Also tweaked RPS minigame to be more favorable. CPU is too good. Wanted to do fighting instead but it would be too time consuming. So we're left with that.

Modding is (poorly) tested, but it works on my machine... It's a first draft so be patient with that.

Write your own lines for females, males and solo variants.

Sex scene has few additional things. Works for MF only for now.

Condom break bar - Faster you fuck, more likely it is to break. You break it, there's a chance for pregnancy.

Cum bar - If you play as male char it's filling up. If it reaches the end, you're gonna cum. If you have high sex skills, this won't happen as fast. Simple.

Orgasm bar - When you start a sex scene, girl rolls a preferred sex positions, stages of that position and speed. She'll let you know what she wants (faster, slower, change position, ...)
That way you'll have easier time reaching the end.

Yey, another minigame.
So what's the reward? There is none. I'm just throwing it in there for roleplaying purposes.
Maybe in the future it will be tied to some special characters or events,
for example: "If you can make me cum, I'm gonna work for you."
You know how it goes. 

Maybe when it's more refined I'll make an option to add some bonus to scene quality and such things.

IT'S NOT MANDATORY AND NEVER WILL BE.
You can just skip sexscenes like a true hero(Also added now)
Playing a minigame for 800x times sucks the joy out your life.

Progress Report

Hi all.

I've made a first step to open up modding.
It's now possible to create and export your own character, write a story from a provided template, put both files in the mods directory and they will spawn in the game and act as a special char.

First tests are successful, although I need you all to try it. There are features missing, but baby steps. It's my first time doing this and I have no tutorials.

It will be included in the next dev version. You can play around and just use the template conversation for testing.

What's good about this?
People can create a special characters and share it with the world. Here's hoping in time you'll have plenty of user created characters and play out the stories if the base game gets stale.
If nobody will use it and share their creations, well, it can be used as a more detailed character creator for your perfect girl/boy. With traits, attributes, birthday and nationality you want.

Work Contracts were pretty useless mid-late game so now they offer additional rewards.

Models can get new traits, +fame, +attributes, you can get reputation and few more.

Managers perks now work. Now it's just how to refine them. Like including their personality traits into the mix.

I've also had to change the (real world) website a bit. Update few old stuff. You probably don't care but I have to write it somewhere. Also considering making a wiki/knowledge base section for guides and FAQs to help new players. If you wanna help writing them drop me a message.

Progress Report + Poll

Hi all.

Working mostly on fixing all the bugs and to improve some things i got complaints on.

For example buying & upgrading places. Everything is moved to the same tab on the main dashboard. You can buy new places there + upgrade your home and offices.

I still have a huge backlog of community suggestions that need to be done. I haven't forgotten about them, it's just that there are a lot of things. I have at least 100 points noted down, some require multiple days of work.

Also finishing the managers. You'll be promoting them within your ranks and get these nice bonuses.

I'm also working on Night Club and Photo Studio, turning them into a passive income buildings. You'll assign staff and girls and the money will be rolling in. Of course everything depends on quality and happiness of everyone, similar to camgirls.

Thinking about changing that only contracted models can work as camgirls/photomodels/dancers. There are no risk factor at the moment, so once you assign them you can just watch the numbers.

Last week I was mostly occupied with adding few new special girls (with stories). Many of you have been asking me for a while when more of them are coming. Well, your time has come.

About the poll

As mentioned above I have a long list of improvements I want to make. Before I add any big new features to the game i'll be refining the existing ones.

v0.8 is going to be a mansion + relationships. Before venturing there I need to polish the game a bit.

3 Main things that need to be done before going to v0.8:

-Resizing the outfit sprites to fit the bodies. Have to resize each outfit part to match the body, save the number and move to the next. Male and female, front and back for 7 different body types. Outfits will then be dynamically resized as the character loads.
A lot of work. Probably whole update just for that.

-Gameplay is getting stale mid & late game, so AI players are needed. Simple stuff to make your progress harder. Some competition, sabotaging, stealing models and so on. 

-Finishing the existing events, expanding the old ones and creating some new ones. More branching, new outcomes and so on.

-You earn some monthly interest based on your personal account balance.

-Web admin efficiency meter. Firing them after upgrading everything will affect your earnings.

Bugs

-Saving and loading sometimes spawned an empty character which crashed the game.

-In some cases there was an error when starting a new game.

-Error when trying to look into the studio.

-Game crashed when trying to change clothes at the production screen.

-If you put agency girl on a contract she disappeared when her time was up, ignoring the contract.

-Male was duplicated in gangbang scenes.

-Other minor fixes.

Let's do this again. Fixed that nasty crash bug with camgirls/production.

No rest if stuff is not working.
