Recap: In this session I've encouraged myself to repaint the green skin into a red skin, with purple underglow. I like it much more now, and it gives me more room to achieve better contrasting elements.
For the skin I used:
SC deep red
SC indian shadow
GW bugmens glow
SC pink flesh

today I wanted to share my go on a purplish pale orc skin on this cool orc warlord model from yedharo miniatures. I think we all are fed up with green orks nowadays xD, so why not go for a cold unnatural skin.

Hi everyone,
today I want to share the initial steps of the mask NMM painting of this amazingdoctor doom bust by eastman. This work was very tough for me, because of the scale, there are very large empty surfaces without any details, so it screams for painted details, and my own creativity was challenged. I get stucked many times and never felt satisfied. At the end the cold light effect against the warm green yellow made it interresting enough for me, to be happy with the result.
Today is the day! We reveal the winners of the discord NMM challenge in form of a video.
My good friend Antonio Rodriguez had a hard time to pick the winners, because of so many amazing works.
But at the end it's a competition. So have fun watching our chat about those works.
I hope everyone had a lot of fun, learned things, discovered new techniques and gained experience. No one should be dissapointed, you all are amazing!

Hi everyone,
today is the last day for all entries for the NMM challenge. Many members already fired up their NMM canons, and posted their final pictures.
The level is higher than expected, and I saw many painters who raised up their own bar for this competition, and that is already a win. Honestly, thats the actual winning prize, that was the hidden achievement behind the whole comp.

Hi everyone,
today I want to share my testing with copper NMM with you, where I use different paints and colors for some convincing copper effect. I find painting copper somehow difficult, because it has a little sweetspot where it looks like copper, too much yellow and brown would be interpreted as gold quickly. Too much red, would be read as red metal.

while I´m preparing the next videopart, which will be uploaded today or tomorrow, I want to share the latest image of the current painting status of Angharad. Hope you like, where this is going. The most challenging part is to add damage structures, without looking unnatural, and still keep the shine. There is definitely a learning curve while im proceeding, and I hope the overall look will be one level.
