Idea for a Westeros System

I found a map last week of a 'Westeros System' on Internet, but wasn't completely happy about some choices made by the creator, so I wondered if I could do something similar but different.

Here it is, feel free to zoom if you want to see everything.

Not planning to put it into a story anytime soon, but logically, it would be something for a ASOIAF/W40k crossover.

Ovation Interlude Monsters and Nightmares

It took me two full days (and then some) for the beta-ing work (which pales to the time the beta spent on it, of course), but it is done.

Here it is the new (and betaed) chapter 47 (interlude) of the Weaver Option.

New War of Lions map

I was busy re-reading the last chapter seeing if I had done some mistakes when I realised I had not posted any map to accompany it! Maps, maps, maps...maps for the Weaver Option, maps to practise, maps...everything is about maps this week, I think.

Oh well. Weaver Option writing should begin before the end of the week, unless Thanathos sends me back the Ovation Interlude, in that case the correction will take (momentarily( priority and then it will be writing...

Because I realised I had a lot to improve on my maps and because I desired something more impressive...I bought Cosmographer 3 today.

Not exactly the easiest map-creating software to master, I am still a humble padawan searching all the functions, but I realised this map as the time for the Black Crusade comes even nearer...

Obviously, all the readers not having a Vermilion clearance will be shot by their referent Commissar.

Weaver Option 8 March 2021 Update

Here is a new update from Ovation Interlude, Monsters and Nightmares. The chapter is getting a lot bigger...and it is far from completed. If things should go well, I will have it finished by Sunday (14th). 

One of my two betas has sent be back Ovation 9-4. Hopefully, the second one will do the same this week, which will lead to a general update on every website next week.

Improved map 138AC

Not modified the Westerlands to include the new allegiance of certain Traitorous Houses, but I added quite a few location-castles and the ancient roads which will be of importance for the coming campaign.

As for the Weaver Option, it's good news/bad news. The writing for Ovation Interlude has begun today, and should proceed satisfactorily (one hopes) so that the first teasers arrive in a few days. However, the betas have not yet completed their correction work on Ovation 9-4, so the fin...

Westeros 138AC Before the War of the Lions

I was almost about to forget to post the map for the Dance is not Over. So here is the situation (mainly in updated New Valyrian roads in purple) just before the attempted assassination on King Daeron on the second moon of 138AC.

A more detailed map will be published with the allegiances of the main Westerlands fortresses next chapter.

Prelude to Interlude 18/02/2021

The writing of the Ovation Interlude (which should be titled Monsters and Nightmares) won't begin before the end of the month (optimistically, if certain betas answer superlatively quick) but I figure that with 99% of the structure planned out, it was best to work on a new map, since I wasn't satsisfied with the first one anyway. For this one, I used the map of the Great Crusade era in M31.

This was a quick job this morning, but should tease well where the action is going to take place....

Summer Festivities

The chapter 79 of The odds were never in my favour, properly beta-ed this time.

I worked four-five days on a new Harry Potter chapter last week, which is one of the reasons there wasn't an update. 

After that I wrote on a new Dance is not Over chapter, which is almost ready to be updated.

I will most likely begin a new End of Times update by the week-end, though there could be changes.

And obviously, the first two chapters will be updated soon on the other website...

Obviously, this chapter wasn't redacted with the help of any Abominable Intelligences. No, dear followers of the Omnissiah, no tech-heresy was involved whatsoever in the redacting of these pages.

We even hired a prestigious Archmagos by the name of Belisarius Cawl to check all the potential problems for us. Isn't that formidable?

This is chapter 79 of The odds were never in my favour, Summer Festivities. It is the second chapter of a four part which will lead to be end of Summer 1994...I think.

Obviously and before anyone ask, Ovation 9-4 is almost over. Well, the writing is done, but there are so many pages I'm busy correcting myself on a few litigious paragraphs and checking I'v enot said any stupidities before sending it to the betas.

Which given that the chapter is around 117 pages and 53 000 words-lon...

The modified map of Nyx now that taylor has begun introducing the result of the STC templates gained at Commorragh.

Not a lot of changes, but I felt it deserved a new map.

Weaver Option 03 February 2021 Update

As I said a few hours ago on alternate history, once again the perifidious Power of Change is trying to corrupt me into enlarging the coming chapter!

Sadly, and despite all the protection offered to me by the God-Emperor, he's succeeding all too well, as the current chapter has grown over 30000 words, and there's still a lot of work (between one week and ten days by my conservative estimates).
