“Faun” BTS | Fuck Photoshop

Guys, I fucking love these. The scar wax prosthetic took me over an hour to apply. I went in and changed the hair color to a gray. If you’re a Facetune user, you can simply edit the hair to any color you want. YOU DO NOT NEED PHOTOSHOP.

Seriously, you don’t! I talk a lot about Facetune for the simple fact that it’s yielded the same results for me minus a rigorous learning course. Yes, if I could afford Photoshop and the Adobe packages it offers, of course I’d t...

It’s a Tough Job, but Somebody Has to Do It

So, what’s it like working with me? I guess the question that everybody is always interested in knowing. This would be a question that Jim should be answering, but I’ll answer on his behalf.

It’s interesting; and what I mean by that is, it’s messy, outrageous, weird, and gross—a lot.

When Jim and I first started dating, my first discourse on horror did not happen until after the first year. I knew that I had always wanted to do it but never pursued it. If any of you kn...

Your Nikon Isn’t Everything

There is something that's been bugging me lately, and I must speak up. There is a certain connection with a better camera and art. I've been receiving some messages lately from artists in regards to my style. According to an opinion, quality of film equals better artistic value.

What? When?

You all know that my work comes from an iPhone 13 Pro Max. While I do wish that I had a better camera set up, unfortunately, we make do with what we have. And truthfully, why would I ever take...

Thank You + Books Going Out

Next batch of books is going to:

Dave

Sarah

Dana

It was supposed to be more, but I had a few people, I guess, drop off just to see the pics from Norway. Sigh, it's to be expected. Thank you, guys and gals, for staying and sticking with me through all these months. Some of you have been here since day one, and that honestly means the world to me.

I can't thank all of you enough for everything you do for me. I can't thank you for letting me share some of the most...

“For Judas” in Reverse!

I had to reupload this! Apologies! The Wi-Fi when I’m in my car is shit!

At any rate, iMovie has come out with some new features, and I wanted to play with it. This is “For Judas” in reverse!

Cornuti Prep

Please excuse the fact that I have a bad sinus infection.

These are super adorable, and I’m very happy I chose the natural color. I think these look better on me than trad black. What are your thoughts?

Cornuto

As I sit here at work stealing company time, with a horrible sinus infection to boot, I wanted to let you all know I took the plunge and went for it.

What did I go for, you may ask? Well, I spent $115 dollars on these life-like ram horns. Now, I usually do not like to do what other artists do on Instagram. Even if I have to sit for a week/week and a half and brainstorm on new ideas--so be it. BUT! Alex Milazzo at Heavy Music Artwork has invited me yet again to participate in the new Ar...

Thoughts, my family.

So, I really dig the black and white. The top is sort of iffy, but the black and white I can definitely get behind. What kinds of designs would you all like to see?

Before & After | Finally Back at It!

Guys, damn! It’s been awhile since I’ve got back into my work, and damn…does it feel good to be back!

This upcoming post will be my reveal to me being at Dawn of Ashes, and this is based off of one of my favorite viral pics on the Gram! Stay tuned!

Dawn of Ashes

Well, my friends, I guess my stage days are not over. It turns out that July 23rd, I will be performing onstage with the glamourous, yet fucking devious Dawn of Ashes. Kristoff Bathory, who is coincidentally a very good friend of mine, has asked me to join him onstage to perform.

I don't know the details yet, but we've already discussed some very interesting ideas. If you can make it to the Tampa area on July 23rd--please come say hi! I would love to meet you and spit blood on you!

Books and Stickers

Hey gang! Books are on their way. The mail here in the States has been less than reliable, causing a lot of international delays.

Those whose books I just sent out will be reviving Haydn’s stickers. As for the rest of you all, I’ll be sending it in a separate envelope rolling out today. If you’ve lost something in the mail—please let me know. I know Ramses’ poster was basically destroyed due to rain, and Haydn’s was just lost. Please don’t be shy to message me about your ...

A Gift from Paimon

How deep is your spirituality?

How deep do you believe in something or someone, to the point that you’re willing to go that extra step?

I don’t know much about faith, and I certainly would never say that I’m a religious person, but lately…things seem strange.

I have a lot of people ask me questions everyday about what I believe, and to mist’s surprise, no:

I am not a Satanist.

And I’m really not. While I do follow the Left Hand Path vehemently,...

Who is Stu Manx?

Who is Stu Manx? I could suggest going down the biographical route and telling you that he is the bassist for Order. Or, I could give you a background on his work with DANG!...but I'd rather just tell you who he really is.

Stig, is special. When I was first commissioned by Kjetil for the video, Stig and I became friends shortly after. I never in my 32 years of living would come to find out exactly how special this human being enriches my life. Out of all the members of Order, he is the...

Backstage Area at Inferno Festival

This is a rather frivolous video—but I had to show you all this cute backstage area!

We were brought up the stairs and given an assortment of fruit, chocolate, homemade dressing (which I have no clue what it was lmao) julienned veggies, and cucumber/lemon water. The backstage area was superbly clean—a stark contrast to the backstage area here in West Palm. Mind you, when I spent time with Vale, the backstage area was extremely dirty, with holes in the ceiling and stains ...

Black Metal and the American Perspective

“They’re racist; they’re Nazis; they’re mean, they’re cold; they hate Americans.”

If you’re familiar with black metal, then you’ve problem heard these phrases when describing one of the most controversial music genres founded. This is the man that sent me an email back in June of 2021; this man, is the founder of the illustrious band, Mayhem. I’ll spare you the diatribe about the history of this band. After all, if you’ve read my previous post about Helvete—then y...

The Saturday Dinner

I skipped out on the last day of Inferno Festival. Reason being, is because Kjetil invited us, the band and the wives to dinner at his house.

Me, Jim, Stig, his wife Annette, Anders and his wife, Billy, and Espen (band photographer) walked through the Oslo streets en route to the host’s home. It’s a surreal feeling when you’re in the company of true black metal legends.

Fifteen minutes later we arrived. Kjetil’s home was perched atop a hill overlooking the Mathallen part...

Meeting Frost

Well, what can I say…I made a total and complete ASS of myself. Needless to say, I was completely and utterly starstruck.

After managing to grab GORGOROTH’S drumstick, I thought my night was pretty complete. Every bit of adrenaline pumping in my veins was throbbing throughout my arms. So, after grabbing about beer, I headed upstairs after GORGOROTH’S set. I managed to exit out onto the balcony…annnnnnnnd I shit my pants.

There was Frost.

Schous-Kjelleren Bryggeri

After our excursion to Nesenblød, we decided we needed a spirit or two.

You know Jim and I are very adamant about our beer, and being that Norway is packed full of bryggeris (breweries), we could not resist! The downside? There’s just too many. Not complaining, but damn…these fuckers do not okay! Jim found Schous-Kjelleren, and we decided to walk a mile from our hotel to get there. After spending about 20 minutes walking in circles, trying to avoid the sleet from soaking my Sherpa...

Helvete

I’m not sharing this with the people on Instagram. Number one, it’s too long; number two, fuck Em.

What can I say about this place? Is it everything a metalhead could hope for? Absolutely. But it’s more than that.

Helvete is was birthed by Øystein Aarseth, aka Euronymous from the infamous band Mayhem. When I walked in, it was very much reminiscent to any vintage record shop in Nashville. Cassettes, vinyls, patches, lapels, CDs, flags, clothes…you name it, it had it. The...
