I've probably worn this costume more than almost any other one! I've had it since at least 2018. I bought the dress but I made the hat. Somewhere I have a cute little mini backpack that looks like a proton pack (since the dress doesn't have pockets) and I usually wear it with my boots that have pockets in them

Corset Week 2024

For the last 8 days I've been working non stop with my costume designer buddy who flew in from Virginia to help me put together the hard parts of this year's big outfits. We worked approximately 6am to 10p every single day (which is why my content has been a little less copious). And now we have the core parts done!

Bookshop Update

A lot of you have been asking about the status of my brick and mortar bookshop that was destroyed in the storms of 2022

TLDR: there is now a satellite location in Michigan (in the Saugatuck Antique Pavilion, an epic vintage vendors type mall). Of course, the webstore is still active, and has been all along. (By all means! Shop there...)

I don't have the bandwidth to field a zillion questions from my bookshop email list yet, so I haven't done an official announcement, but I did...
