Lorewalking #007 - The True Enemy (Mad Murozond Theories, Ho!)

Right, so The Jailer was a complete wash. Will our next villain be any better? Dragonflight has yet to reveal an actual threat to the world, but we've got you. Gerard and Michael have smashed all the lore together and figure it out. Listen along for one hell of a story-speculation ride.

Coming soon... more dragon-related podcasts. They're kind of in these days.

September Teaser - Loot tier WIPs!

Hi everyone! The theme for the month of September is Priest. The final instalment in the industrial arc, the city guard seeks refuge and healing in a temple, where an acolyte of a strange god can tend to their wounds.

- The inspiration for the deity of this temple and the vivid colour scheme was Tiamat, the many-headed dragon of Dungeons and Dragons. Though Tiamat is evil, we wanted the intentions of this god to be more vague, its malevolence or benevolence to be a myst...

August Loot Reveal - ROGUE

As it's now August, it's time to slink into the shadows as a Rogue - talented trickster with a myriad of trinkets and wits at their disposal, from whom no treasure is safe.

This pack includes a Rogue class card, Cerberus pin, and lore card of our Rogue dashing through the city's underbelly to evade the guard and their 3 hounds.

August Teaser - Loot tier WIPs!

Hello patrons! I'm so excited to announce that the theme for the month of August is Rogue. This part is second in the industrial mini-arc, following the journey of the rogue after their escape from the machinist - but the city guards and their dogs are hot on their trail.

- We continued the clockwork imagery in the intricate mechanisms of doors and locks, and in the dishevelled under-belly of the city. Given the dark, seedy nature of this month's theme, we added Gothic ...

Loot Update - Replacements for April's Druid art

Hello everyone! Just a quick update as we've had some messages from confused patrons!

Last month, the art package for April (Druid) was sent without the main art card because of an error on our end. This package contained the Druid card, the Kelpie (spooky horse) pin, and 3 Pale Beyond cards, but was missing the Lore card depicting a swamp scene.

If you find yourself receiving an envelope containing a single art card of a swamp - this is the replacement for April, not a mistake fo...

These Numbers Scared Blizzard: The SOFO Situation

If you've been wondering why Blizzard nerfed SOFO a lot, well here's why! We did a deep dive into the data, and found fascinating numbers. I loved the raid, but it clearly had issues once out in the wild. Thankfully Blizzard have already said they've incorporated what they've learned from this into Dragonflight.

Not In The 'Mood' For Dragonflight? Experience These Dragon Quests Now!

Yeah, that title is a bit tongue-in-cheek. Feels like an ad from the 80s, right?

Anyway, Dragonflight is a good bit sooner than we expected, but still a ways off, so here's a stack of quests you can immerse yourself in to get into the mood for some Dragon-flavoured adventures. There are plenty of relevant, enjoyable experiences in WoW's history... you just have to know where to look.

...Why Do People Seem To HATE Calia Menethil?

...If Blizzard plan to use this character going forward, we have to dig deep and think about something critical. Why does it seem that, well, everyone hates Calia Menethil?

Do you hate her? Do you like her? ...do you care about her at all? It's a pretty complicated situation.

A Totally New Type Of Video - Time Is Money!

We're trying something new with this one - a more traditional video essay style discussing time and money, their relationship to World of Warcraft, and how they've gotten more and more connected, even confused, over time... and why.

Let us know what you think, as this is definitely very new to us - but something we really enjoyed putting together for you guys. If you like it, we'll absolutely try to do a lot more.

July Teaser - Loot tier WIPs!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to announce that the theme for this upcoming month of July is Machinist. The first instalment in the next mini-arc, an industrial story about engineers and thieves in a city of cathedrals.

- We wanted to go more action orientated for the next arc! Our environment artist Ethan had the idea of a dramatic mono-rail chase scene - originally from the perspective of a sneaky hooded figure (a peek into a future month's theme), but we changed it to a ma...

From Bloomberg Law, the Judge said “it’s plausible Valve exploits its market dominance to threaten and retaliate against developers that sell games for less through other retailers or platforms.” As to whether this will actually go anywhere, it’s hard to know, be...
