We are a Belgian artist and writer working together on a comic book called Simple Spirits! The story is about a group of friends living together and dealing with everyday life and personal growth. Our cast consists of: Jacob the hunk, Red the demon, Oscar the dragon, Hiro the bee and Max, the otter. If you feel like reading it, you can click on the "Family Business - Volume 1" collection.

Yes, you read that right, we also offer Workout Plans if you wish to better your physical strength and grow some muscles. These plans are made by professionals of the industry and are certified to give results. They are also accompanied by tips to make sure you learn about your body so you wouldn't hurt yourself.
If you want to ask questions about those, don't hesitate to use the Health-Fitness channel on the Discord Server.

Jacob's Gym Guide LVL 5

Level 5 is for people that seek a challenge.

The happy 100: is an intense cardio workout.

Bulking Workout: if you wanna grow your muscles, this is for you, not really for beginners, this is only for people that already worked out for a year.

Jacob's Gym Guide LVL 4

Level 4 are multiple specialization exercices. You will find most exercices for different muscle groups. Don't see these are complete workout, rather as a lexicon for all the exercices.

If you feel like doing these workouts, I recommend you choosing 4-6 different exercices per workout, try to stay consistent for a month or two and then choose other exercices.

In the meantime, I would like to ask for your input. What would you prefer? Would you like me to continue the classes on anatomy or would you like me to start a new topic? Let me know in the comments!

✨ Happy New Year 2023! ✨

Hi guys! 🥰

We hope the start of the new year has been treating you well! We wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share our goals for 2023 with you.

First and foremost, we want to thank all of our Patrons for their continued support and dedication. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. In the past year, we've made some significant strides in growing our community and creating new and exciting content for all of you. However, we realized that keeping up with a steady influx of art was too taxing for Greg. So here are some things that we wanted to communicate for the upcoming year:

First and foremost, we plan to focus on decreasing the amount of content we offer, as it is too much for now, since Greg has to balance Patreon, work and studies. This means that there won't be a monthly finished illustration for the following months (we plan on adding them back when Greg feels like he can add more on his shoulders). You can still expect the monthly sketches to be uploaded, though!

because of that, we plan to spend more time working on our comic, sketching out the following pages and making sure that the whole comic is drafted out. If there is room, we will also continue with lineart and coloring.

In addition to our comic, we also want to focus on building and strengthening our community. This means:

• We encourage you to come online on our Discord Server, spend some time with Greg while he is online drawing!
• Greg will try to hold a weekly Surprise Sketch Stream on a weekly basis.
• We encourage you to make more use of the Mentorship. Whether you need help with correcting your drawings, finding references, improving your process, or exploring new art forms like painting, photography, or video-editing, Greg is here to assist you! Some of you might not know this but he is a licensed art teacher.

Mentorship update

Hi people!!

I wanted to let you know that I am now offering mentorship on a more flexible schedule. I realized that I don't have enough patrons to feel overwhelmed by the demand, so the limitation of once a week isn't necessary. From now on, the mentorship is unlimited. If I every feel overwhelmed, I'll limit it, but for now it's not necessary 😊 If you have any questions, don't hesitate!

Patreon Update 12-12-22

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that, as much as I enjoy creating finished illustrations for you each month, I have found it increasingly difficult to balance my workload with my studies, work, chores and self-care. 😞
As a result, I have decided to put my focus on my master thesis for the next few months and will not be able to promise a finished illustration each month. However, I will still be finishing the 2 illustrations that I am currently working on (the werewolf sequence part 3 and the Krampus drawing), but I will not be starting a new one next month. (to give myself some breathing room) 😉

I understand that this may be disappointing for some of you, but I hope you can understand my need to prioritize my studies at this time. 😥 I will still occasionally post sketches and other updates, but my focus will be on completing my thesis.

Kinktober - Werewolf sequence 3

Here are the experiments and tests I did before settling on a version for this drawing that I liked ♥ I will update this Patreon Post as I continue working on this drawing.

Patreon Update 21-11-22

It is monday, so that means I wanna update y'all on the situation. Managing work, university and Simple Spirits is surprisingly hard. 3 days ago I tried doing a to-do list with the expectation that it would kickstart me into working on drawings again, but what do you know? The exhaustion caught up to me. I did nothing this weekend as I was an empty husk of a person the entire weekend.

Here's my planning tho so you can better understand what is going on:

• Monday I work the entire day
• Tuesday I go to the university all day for presentations and working on my Master Thesis. Sometimes I work on that day.
• Wednesday I sometimes have to go to uni, sometimes I work on that day. If I don't have any of those, then it's a day off and god knows I fucking love having wednesday off. because that means DRAWING!
• Thursday is usually a day where I don't have to do anything so it's usually drawing day, but since my work schedule is flexible I sometimes have to work.
• Friday I work half a day so I draw on that day too … 

As you can imagine, that usually only leaves me the weekend to do anything really productive for simple spirits, but I am usually exhausted from the week to do anything. SO, I decided to plan ahead and warn you guys when I'll be online so that you guys can join me in the stream rooms on Discord when I have time to draw! I'll keep you guys updated!

Patreon update

Hi everyone! 😊

We wanted to give an update on the current and future state of our Patreon page!

What happened in the last week?

In the last couple of days I have been trying to put more order in my head. For Simple Spirits, we have so much planned that I easily get overwhelmed. Therefore, I created a giant to-do list where I plan on updating what needs to be done and what already has been done.

I'm talking about the Patreon requests, making the reference sheets for my ocs, continuing the comic, commissions, art-trades and so on. That's way I can keep track of my progress, keep myself motivated and not get anxious about the things that I have to do.

I also want to keep myself accountable for this, which is why I will share this to-do list and regularly update this on my progress and what I plan on doing:

Small Tier Update

Hi Patrons

We decided to update the tier benefits when it comes to the workshops. 

• The workshops will remain available to every tier when they are given (either in the community server or Patron exclusive channel)
• Recordings will be available for the Plate & Pile of Cookies tiers.

It made more sense to us that the recordings, being associated with mentorship that comes with these tiers, would move up a tier as a lot of extra effort is put into editing them.
