Here are a few work in progress photos, when I was working on Kitty cat Katarina.
The costume itself is fairly simple to make. I will be releasing a pdf tutorial covering this process, makeup & makeup template, and a few blueprints for the accessories.
My shoes are ready!
I spent a few days repainting the base and adding some details. I can say tha I am proud of the outcome.
I have to learn how to dance with these beauties, and hopefully I won't break my legs during the process. ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
I started working on my competitive costume again!
There is a new set of qualification rules for this year, because of the quarantine. It is still not safe to say that there will be a special event held for CWM, but I want to be prepared, in case we are allowed to perform.
Here are my butterflies, which I made from old CDs. I will be attaching a small swarowski stone in the middle of each butterfly to make them extra sparkly!

I originally bought it for a Halloween party, to which I ended up not going to. So this was a costume I got stuck with, and I was looking for any ideas to recycle it into.
Nurse Akali seemed like a great fit for the job, so I experimented a little with some makeup. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome and decided to edit it to match her original design!

I have some news for you.
The bad news is:
I couldn't book a photo studio to make the photoshoot happen, because of the quarantine. This said, the quality of this month's photos won't be as good as the previous one.
The good news is:
I have decided to make small changes to my tiers during this quarantine period.

The most important part of this process is the fabric.
If your material is thick, you may use a single sheet of fabric for the mask. If your fabric is thin, please make it double (2x measurements for the main piece). I used leftovers from the costumes I made throughout the years.

I am happy to share with you that I have FINALLY found a similar lace. 🎉🎉 I have to cut out and rearrange the details, since I need just 6 rows of leaves.

I did a makeup test for Shiranui last night!
I also made a step by step video tutorial, which will be available in my tutorial pack for her!
I tried my costume, too. I really like how it is turning out, but I might not include one of the kimonos in the final costume. Layering 3 pcs made me look chubby and my obi was barely fitting me. I'll probably leave the collar of it as an accessory. ðŸ¤
