I would like to approach you with this post mainly to thank you for your support, the experience has been so positive, both with the release of the Character-Centric Packs and this Patreon, that I feel compelled to correspond with it. That’s why I’m announcing a rework for this Patreon.

The Ancestries Card Set has been released as a standalone supplement for the Ironsworn System on DriveThruRPG and Itch.io.
I'm sending a complimentary copy via DriveThruRPG email to all the patrons whose total pledge reaches $15+. 2020-09-04 08:21:25 +0000 UTC View Post
Here is the preview of something I've been working on: elaborated quest started I'm tempted to call quest fronts. The design template is heavily inspired by Dungeon World.
Please, feel free to share your thoughts.

2020-08-04 23:11:36 +0000 UTC View PostThe concept of using a deck of playing cards in the Ironsworn system has been something compelling for me since the beginning of the Ironcrunch development. However, with the implementation of more cards into the game (Items, Conditions, and Demeanors), I've been having my doubts about keeping this mechanic. The latest playtest sessions I've been having with my group made me realize that removing it might be a rightful choice. Here's why.
The premise of Ironcrunch has been mixing Ironsworn with some OSR vibe. The issue with this is that parsing the licenses (properly identifying which parts are Creative Common 4.0, Open Game License, and my own identity product) may be a tad cumbersome for the core rulebook, reason why I would like to avoid using the Open Game License, so I've taken some decisions to avoid it.
The next update will have some changes regarding the elements taken from d20 System Reference ...
2020-07-14 20:52:18 +0000 UTC View PostLast month's update simplified things in terms of gameplay and workability (Ironcrunch it's becoming less crunchy as a matter of fact), and in tune with this, I've been working my head around making it possible to play without cards. As a result, for this month's update, I will be adding a third page to the character sheet for optional use for non-cards setups, or if you would like to log your last session's setup.
After much f...

2020-06-03 19:33:15 +0000 UTC View PostAfter this month's update, I'll start working on the Bestiary Update, the final one, which will not only include an appendix of 50+ pages of creatures, but also a creatures card set. This is why I need to know which card presentation likes the most.
I'll offer the creatures card set in both formats if the poll says so, so it is your call.
Note: This criterion will also apply to the items card set of this month's update.

The item cards set will consist of the following.
Addons have been removed out of the game in the pursuit of simplicity. Artifacts (from Delve) already fits the concept addons were aiming for. Probably in the future, I will work on a standalone appendix with magic items that would fill the need for these kinds of items.
If you have any kind of feedback, even if it just a min...

2020-05-12 14:15:17 +0000 UTC View PostI've been converting 103 toxic substances from Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and 5th edition, and Pathfinder 1st edition, meaning that this is the time I get to definitely establish the price and damage conversions I'll use from Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder to Ironcrunch, at least in terms of items (not foes). The principle is to achieve balance and verisimilitude with the meaning of the numeric values with thins system.

2020-04-10 17:39:41 +0000 UTC View PostI'm currently considering including appendices to list and present all the ancestries, motivations, and the upcoming bestiary entries.
So far, the listing of the ancestries and motivations alone takes around 25 pages of the first chapters, which makes the scrolling a bit awkward.
If appendices are included, there will be only one chapter to guide through the character creation, which will refer to the appropriate appendices to choose the ancestries and motivations.
What's yo...

This is the current working plan for content creation.
The development roadmap is updated when a milestone has been reached or a new goal has been set. Elements in it (especially the ones in draft) are subject to be reprioritized, discarded, or renamed.
Each month, you will be getting released products as DriveThruRPG complimentary copies, in their order of release. Check your DriveThruRPG email.
This playtest package is a draft of what the Ironcrunch expansion was intended to become. It is currently fully playable, but some rework might be needed. Even though there are currently no plans to continue developing the project, feedback is always welcome to encourage the resume of the development for a proper release.
Some elements from this expansion turned into standalone products, such as the 2020-03-31 10:45:35 +0000 UTC

As every other Ironcrunch card set, these will be patron-exclusive. For the public playtest package, the rulebook will offer everything needed to make index cards for the races.
The rulebook will also expand on the specifications of each race, with flavor texts, stats base and maximum, and age.
There will be a total of 60 races. To know more about the design choices behind them, take a look at 2020-03-18 02:05:27 +0000 UTC View Post
With the Delve release and the influence of some Internet's personalities, Ironsworn has received a great deal of popularity.
