It's been a long time but things are finally starting to click and the end is in sight. Painting the armor has been a lot more fun than expected. Really pushing outside of my comfort zone and learning a lot on this one.

Hey guys I know I've been a bit radio silent for a bit. I've been struggling a lot with this illustration. I have built up 8 years of advanced workflows and techniques for painting dragons and monsters. The issue is that my skills for painting people have been pretty unchanged since like 2012. Full time was about 8 hours condensed into 10 mins. This one was a struggle. I had never drawn brachy before so it was a fun challenge to learn him. You can see how many early iterations this went through.

Here's a couple fun things from this guy. Obviously there is what Grimmsnarl looks like without his fur, its not great! Also there is the original furry version of Morgrem. I definitely think I made the right call making him naked.
